Can I choose any IGN global edition from my location?

IGN strongly believes in the freedom for users to choose any global edition of IGN, regardless of where in the world they are located.

If you'd prefer to view an alternative IGN edition than the one you are redirected to based on location, please use the "sticky links" in the Edition Select, located in header of any IGN edition above the IGN logo (or on some pages, via the "More" link in header > "Change Region" dropdown).

For example, the US edition sticky link is: http://www.ign.com/?setccpref=US. (For users in China, the US edition sticky link is: http://cn.ign.com/ccpref/us ).

If the sticky link bypass is not working for you, it could be a problem with your cookies; please try a cache reset and deleting your IGN cookies and then it should work as normal. Why can't I log in?

There are a some simple ways to be able to ensure you can log into your IGN account.

1. Enable Cookies — IGN.com is designed to work with cookies enabled. If you are having trouble .
2. Wrong or Invalid Email Address — If the email associated with your account is invalid or malformed, you won't be able to access your account. Contact us if you want to keep your information or you can register a new account with a valid email.
3. Invalid Username — If your username contains special characters you may have trouble accessing your account. Try logging in with your your email address.
4. Username Change Request — If you've contact support in the past to request an email or nickname change, it might be possible that the change was not reflected on all our systems contact us to verify your account is setup correctly.

Haven't logged in to your account in a while?

IGN will occasionally remove old or deprecated accounts from our systems. If you haven't used your account in years, try to register your email again.

How do I disable auto-renew on my IGN Prime subscription?

To stop automatic renewal for your IGN Prime subscription, please visit Account Management. Click 'Cancel subscription' in the Subscription category to turn off auto renewal. You can view your subscription end date by returning to Account Management.

How do I update my payment information?

You can update your billing information including your name, address and credit card information on the Prime Manager page.

You will see any open subscriptions, the payment date, renewal date as well as the "Cancel" link and "Change Payment Method" where you can manage your payment accounts.

How do I disable ads?

Disabling ads is a feature for IGN Prime subscribers. If you have opted to block intrusive ads and are currently seeing them, we are working on fixing this bug right now (as of April 12th, 2012). We are really sorry for the inconvenience of the intrusive ads and we promise to feed the engineers a lot of sugar until this is fixed.

Login under the same login on which you paid for your subscription.

1. Go to the Prime Hub
2. Check the box "Block intrusive ads on all IGN sites"
3. Click the "Save" button

How do I cancel my IGN Prime Subscription?

You can manage your IGN Prime subscription and any renewals on the Prime Manager page. If you are having trouble with that page, feel free to contact support.

Can I get a refund for my IGN Prime subscription?

IGN charges your Prime subscriptions up front for time, not usage. All IGN Prime subscriptions are recurring unless cancelled prior to renewal. We do not offer refunds. Please be sure and manage your subscription and any renewals on the Prime Manager page.

What are the terms of my IGN Prime subscription?

All of our subscriptions renew automatically 5 days prior to the end of your subscription to avoid any lapse in your subscription. These terms are detailed in our Terms of Use as well which is presented to you when you subscribe.

Your service will be automatically renewed at the end of your term.

I forgot my password. How do I reset my password?

Please visit the forgot password page if you cannot access your account because you forgot your password. You need to remember your email and provide it in the requested form. In less than one minute, you'll be receiving an email with instructions on how to reset the password.
