Purpose of this Blog: To leave a record of some thoughts as I take stock of my life and in doing so to clearly acknowledge that Hubbard had his strengths as well as his weaknesses. Out of his goodness he was very good to me. His vices do me as much harm as I let them. I am happy that I knew him, warts and all. Who amongst us is perfect? We can reject his misbehaviours, yes, and be mindful of our own as we scorn him. If we let his foolishness blind us to his core of helpful and absurdly effective sanity, we go our way…but may God be with us. We will find out how much we need all the sanity we can muster.
