John Higgins made the ninth 147 break of his career on day two at the BetVictor Scottish Open in Glasgow.

The stunning maximum came in the third frame of his second round tie with Gerard Greene, which he won 4-0.

That puts the Scot in line for a potential £20,000 payout from the rolling 147 prize pot, plus an extra £2,000 for the high break of the tournament. It is the 145th official maximum break on record.
