Myxoid leiomyosarcoma is a morphologic variant of leiomyosarcoma characterized by cellular pleomorphism, scattered malignant cells with large nuclei, and a myxoid stroma. The tumours are large and gelatinous. They commonly invade the myometrium; vascular invasion may also be observed¹
