    Miles is one of our most complicated products - Dan's going to start doing a periodic update on what he's working on...

    I wasn't planning on this being public, but Jeff thinks its awesome. So... I guess I'm going to be doing a periodic development video thing? aka, a "vlog". Just short videos on Miles stuff for RAD.

    Thanks for all the nice wishes about Oodle Kraken in the PS5! It was a fun project and cool to see that the same things that make Kraken so fast in software translate well to hardware. Sony & AMD did amazing work - it's really nuts how much decompression power this box will have.

    Oodle Lossless Image 1.4.7 - palettized images, 1/2 plane images, Ooodle 2.8 built-in, more! Many 24-bit images have less than 2K colors, so can be better compressed with palettes!

    Bink now supports Emscripten, so you can drop Bink files into web games (and Unity support as well)! No threads or SIMD in Emscripten yet, so native has huge advantage for now.

    Bink compressor is now 64-bit - compresses 20 to 35% faster, and can compress much larger frames (stereo 8K frames, no problem).
