So… in terms of updates, there are many. However, I’ll start off with the usual apology: sorry, Nick and I are very busy and have been completely inactive on iMD for months. Now that that’s finished, I’ll continue.
As I said earlier, I preordered the Oculus Rift DK2. Not only did I preorder it, but I just received it a few days ago. Now… since I’m not Nick, I wasn’t able to make a great unboxing video, however, from here on, there will be Oculus Rift content. I’ve already tried it out on a few simulators (ie. Matrix simulator, Live For Speed 2, Tron Light Cycles Simulator, etc.).
We have also been looking into taking better care of our health. Being in front of the computer all day makes you worry about that every once in a while I’d say. We had already been looking into a health supplement that had decent reviews online, and eventually we tried it. I really do think it has been working great for us, and I strongly recommend it. If you would like to know more about to see if maybe you would like to try it out yourself you can view the website.
To clarify, since the Oculus Rift is a one person headset, Nick and I will somehow figure out how to record content of both of us playing, whether it be turn-based or whatever. But don’t worry, there WILL be videos of us falling off our chairs as we use the headset…

Hey everyone, Nick here! I have amazing news! Colonizing America is now out! Anyone who is whitelisted in the server can now explore the Americas. It has been a long time since I originally thought of the idea back in March, so I am very excited to have it finally finished.
As promised, I uploaded the trailer for the map, which you can check out on YouTube or the videos page. To get to Colonizing America, head to the Login world and turn around to see the purple stained clay. Don’t know how to get to the Login world? No problem! Just do /warp Spawn and you will teleported there.

Here it is folks, the moment you’ve all you’ve been waiting for: the completion of the Colonizing America trailer! There’s some really awesome news, but also some cruddy news. I’ll start with the awesome news: It’s done! We’ve finished it, the song, voice over, are all amazing! Now the bad news: when we were panning the landscape, there were some annoying chunks that didn’t want to completely load. We’d really would’ve loved there not to be any. Both Nick and I are very sorry and hope you’ll be forgiving for tarnishing the experience.

Hey everyone, Nick here! I wanted to give you all a quick update on the status of Colonizing America. David and I were just ready to release the map a while ago, when we realized there were a few bugs. When we went to dig down, we found out there were no caves or ores. Just solid stone. So, I went into WorldPainter and added the caves and ores back in. Unfortunately, that caused all the creations we built in the map to turn into stone. So, I once again went into WorldPainter and merged the new world with our older version, and all the problems were solved!
Now that we fixed the map, we have started working on the epic trailer. Right now it’s a surprise, so you’ll just have to wait see just how amazing it is! We are planning to finish the trailer by this weekend and hopefully release the map on our server the weekend after. Of course, the dates are subject to change, as we might get a big project or something in school.
One thing I will show you, is a sneak peek of some of the cave systems. They are awesome! Pictured below is just one of the amazing caves. So, until next time, stay tuned for more updates!
