The Fourth International Symposium of Chinese CHI (Chinese CHI 2016) will be held 8 May in San Jose, CA, USA, jointly with the ACM SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2016).
Chinese CHI is Chinese leading forum for research in all areas of Human-Computer Interaction. It attracts an international community of practitioners, researchers, academics and students from a wide range of disciplines including user experience design, software engineering, human factors, information systems, social science and creative industries among other disciplines.
世界華人華僑人機交互協會（International Chinese Association of Computer Human Interaction，簡稱“ICACHI”，網站 icachi.org）於2012年5月10日在美國Austin（ACM CHI2012國際會議期間）成立。ChineseCHI已經成功舉办了三屆，Chinese CHI 2013、Chinese CHI 2014和Chinese CHI2015分別於2013年4月29日在法國巴黎、2014年4月26-27日在加拿大多倫多和2015年4月18-19日在韩国首爾與當年ACM CHI國際會議同期舉办。
此次Chinese CHI 2016國際研討大會將提供全世界華人HCI研究工作者一個產業學術交流的機會。HCI是Human–Computer Interaction的簡稱，旨在探討使用者與機器間的互動。一個成功的HCI project需要整合很多跨領域的人才與知識。在機器方面相關的研究領域例如電腦圖學、人工智慧、自然語言處理丶多媒體、系統、計算機網路等，在使用者方面的研究領域例如通信視訊、傳播媒體、工業設計、語言學、社會科學、認知心理學及人因設計等相關理論，可說是博大精深，五花八門。Chinese CHI 2016大會很高興有這個機會將在 San Jose 主辦這重要的學術交流研討會，希望全世界華人HCI產業與學術研究工作者擁躍參與，相互切搓交流，共襄盛舉。
