Former South African Under-23 national soccer squad assistant coach Thabo Dladla has been appointed caretaker coach of Zulu Royals. This follows the resignation of head coach, Zambian Keagan Mumba.

"We are still searching for a new coach," said Royals spokesperson Chris Mlotshwa in confirming the departure of Mumba.

The prominent Zambian coach cited lack of commitment and dedication from his players following their 2-1 defeat by Louisville Pirates in Durban last Sunday.

Dladla was assisting Mumba, who joined Usuthu at the beginning of the 2004/2005 soccer season following the departure of compatriot Jacob Sakala. - Sapa
