Last week we were in Amsterdam and while there, might as well visit a coffeeshop. While in the center, Coffeeshop Bagheera is always a good pick with a broad selection of cannabis, edibles and a guaranteed possibility to sit. Their edibles are provided by Amsterdam Edibles Connection, of which we previously already reviewed their Rainbow Kush Cake and Space Brownies.

Salted Caramel Tart by Amsterdam Edibles Connection

This time we picked up their Salted Caramel Tart and something to smoke of course, especially when the HomeGrown Cup 2017 winning cannabis Orange Diesel by Lady Sativa Genetics is on the menu.

Setting

I took the Salted Caramel Tart home to take some pictures and find the right moment to eat it. In the end, I would have the tart on a Sunday evening, after a long weekend and needing insurance I would sleep.

Effect

Dosage is the same as the Rainbow Kush Cake and the Space Brownie, 0.5 grams of Kush.

Salted Caramel Tart

About an hour after ingestion, I felt a stoned feeling coming over me and then it was time to sleep. I slept well and long but wasn’t too stoned when I woke up. To find what it does to you when you stay awake, I suggest checking out the Rainbow Kush Cake review and/or the Space Brownie review.

Verdict

Taking my first bite, I would say the THC is in the cookie dough and not in the chocolate, which is a combination of caramel, chocolate, and salt.

Salted Caramel TartA great combination that I like to eat in the odd occurrence that I eat or get chocolate. Mine happened to be a special Valentine’s Day version, which even if it didn’t do much for the taste, is a nice little addition.

If you’re in Amsterdam and like to take an edible for a change, consider visiting Coffeeshop Bagheera at Kloveniersburgwal 60, Amsterdam (open every day from 09:00 till 01:00) to pick up your Salted Caramel Tart for 10 euros a piece. Or check out our other edible reviews.
