Despite a decisive victory Tuesday providing further confirmation of her likely nomination, in many respects Hillary Clinton emerges from the New York primary more damaged, her party more divided, than she entered it. What came to be called The Battle of New York has served only to further expose what millions of people in the...
  • Third AND fourth parties are needed to destroy the existing corrupt sclerotic obsolete UniParty.

    Where we can agree? Suggestions:

Every Vote Counts in Primaries AND General Elections

No Wars Without A Public Vote of the Entire Congress

America First Trade & Economic Policy – A Nation is More than a Marketplace

America First Foreign Policy – Protect American Interests, Not Foreign Interests. Respect Other Nations’ Sovereignty. We’re the Arsenal of Democracy, Not the Army of Democracy. Let Other Countries Fight Their Own Wars

Then let the debate begin between legitimate representatives of OUR interests on both sides.

  • Great idea! You named it too: The 99% party

  • @Jus' Sayin'...
Ms. Sawant and I agree on at least one thing: The Democrat Party is not really democratic at all; certainly less so than the Republican Party, which itself is not very democratic; although to that Party's credit it does not brand itself as being such. A truly democratic nomination process in the Democrat Party would almost certainly lead to the repudiation of the utterly corrupt, demonstrably incompetent, and obscenely power-hungry harridan that calls itself Hillary Clinton. Whether this would lead to the nomination of Bernie Sanders is more debatable.

The only-slightly-more-democratic nomination process of the Republican Party is far more favorable to a grass roots movement seeking to nominate a dark horse candidate. This is why the nomination of Donald Trump appears more and more certain going forward. It appears increasingly likely that Trump will be facing off against Clinton this November.

The result is not a foregone conclusion. Despite Clinton's consistent record of incompetence, failure and cover-ups, she will be the darling of the elites, the MSM, and the plutocrats who finance politics in this country. Standing against this coalition, Trump has been voicing the concerns of a majority of voters and proposing plausible solutions that resonate with them. The power of this policy-driven approach and its obvious resonance with the electorate is demonstrated best when one notices that the elite's well orchestrated attacks on Trump carefully and consistently avoid rationally addressing the issues he raises.

All that said, I would love to see a match up between Sanders and Trump in November, as unlikely as that now appears to be. As a native born, son of the working class who is now firmly embedded in this country's middle class I suspect that I have a much better feel for this country's politics than Ms. Sawant and her various associates on the left. I will give them a hint: Their expectations are doomed to disappointment until the demographic character of this country's electorate undergoes the changes they hope for and seek. But if the country's demographics ever do change to this extent we will have degenerated into another Venezuela or Brazil and I, for one, will bid Ms. Sawant and her leftist colleagues welcome to the sorry spoils.

US of A meddling into the sovereign nations and South America has been disastrous for these nations who to not bow to US interests and meddling. This started in the 50′s and destroyed many democratic elected governments thru sanctions and with CIA meddling and well placed infiltraitors and military backing coups. If you did not adhere to US multi nationals who wanted your resources, watch out you would be next for sanctions and coups. South America learned from these decades of destruction of their soverignity and resources and became independent until recently again we are sanctioning and destroying democracy. Of course we have the help of US Banksters just like in Puerto Rico.

So for all you who wish to compare Venezuela and Brazil and Argentina now to socialist failure, please take a look at history and Empire before you utter this nonesense.

  • I’m hoping for both Sander and Trump to run as independents. A closely contested four way race into November? That would be fantastic.

Now, this is coming from a GOP defector who wants to see the Republican Party burned down and rebuilt as opposed to starting our own party. Don’t forget that there’s a good segment of the 99% who do not have socialist views. Monochrome dichotomies do not lead to good strategies.

If Sanders does run independent, he needs to go all out. None of this avoiding states and worrying about throwing it to the GOP. Stand up and fight. Go all in. I’m willing to throw the election to the Democrats if it means dismantling the current GOP. Sometimes you have to sacrifice to make your point. Anything less will be seen as weak and weasely.

BTW, I love how the posting form asks for real or fictitious names and emails. You guys get it.

While past presidential candidates waited until they received the nomination to join joint fundraising committees, the Hillary Victory Committee has already distributed over $44 million to her campaign and other Democratic candidates.

I do hope some day you and others who throw around abbreviations like MSM will include the words these abbreviations represent. You can add them in parentheses. Took me a while online to find out who the MSM are. Not disagreeing with you, just hope the editors who post comments with abbreviations take time to make the posts clear to all by including what words the abbreviations actually stand for. Some of us are just too politically uninformed to get by with abbreviations.

I do hope some day you and others who throw around abbreviations like MSM will include the words these abbreviations represent.

Until that day comes, there are some decent acronym decoders available on the web, such as:

Overall, a very good take. Opening was precisely the direction i would have taken had Jus Sayin not already pointed to the reality that the Democrat party is NOT democratic and probably should be sued for its misleading claim by name. The Democrat party is TOTALLY corrupt and deserves to be scuttled and removed from the political scene. It is so deeply corrupt ~from the top down~ that it is NOT capable of reform.

The conservative/liberal/right/left paradigm is like counterfeit money. It is a false vision imparted by the minions of the ruling central banksters headed by the Rothschild crime family and various unindicted co-conspiritorial elitists. When the people are falsely divided against each other it is easy to project that continued development of this split over relatively minor issues such as abortion and transexualized bathrooms will lead to the point where WE THE PEOPLE have no rights left.

What i would like to see, contrasting with idealogues who spout leftist or rightist rhetoric, is a grand coalition of the politically disenfranchised by way of a melded people's campaign by BOTH Sanders and Trump running as a team. They would switch during their four year joint term on a year by year basis, the Presidency and Vice Presidency. By means of a simple coin flip, shown on nationwide video, they would choose their cabinet, with the winning flip choosing the first member, the flipside guy getting the second and so on.

Such a development may seem impossible to some and highly improbable to others, but who has a better idea? Please share it.

Had the same idea. After the corrupt Hillary machine screws Bernie out of a fair shot, Trump asks Bernie to be his VP. If Bernie accepts, all the Bernie voters go to Trump. If Bernie declines the offer, Trump says “Well, I tried to bring the American people together”, and substantial numbers of Bernie voters still go to Trump. In either case, Hillary is destroyed, which is what I want badly to see.

With Trump and Bernie as a team, they reinvent the old Republican party as the New Republican/New Democrat party, a single dominant centrist party that owns congress and gets things done.

Trump may be smart enough to pull off this sort of political revolution.

  • The solution is to treat political beliefs like religious beliefs and let each person worship at the political altar of their choice. Beliefs fall far short of any proof which is why they should be kept personal.

Forcing your political beliefs down everyone’s throat is as unacceptable as forcing your religious beliefs down their throats. The end result of both is the enslavement of people to those who are possessors of those beliefs.

Denis Diderot put it nicely: Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.

That, or man evolves past his need to control others.

I don’t buy into rigged elections even in the Democratic Party. Hillary Clinton will win regardless of cheating and (super) delegates. Sanders appeal to young college educated whites struggling with underunemployment, their parents, stoners, people living in rural or semi-rural states and the far-left. Clinton appeals to minorities, feminists, lobbyists, upper-middle class, interventionists and I guess the beltway center-left. Bernie is basically a grumpy Jewish communist from Brooklyn who moved to Vermont after college. Why? Because he didn’t like the “reality” and Vermont is a shielded reality for leftists who dream of turning United States into what Scandinavia used to be before neo-liberalism. Hillary is an upper-middle class Rockefeller republican who turned to the Democratic Party in college and then married an aspiring and later very successful politician.

I personally like Bernie because he is critical of foreign interventions while Hillary is a neo-conservative shill. I don’t see the point creating a new party. There are already plenty of leftist third parties such as the Green Party, Working Families Party and Vermont Progressive Party. They stand no chance against the Democratic machine just like the Libertarian, Reform or Constitution Party did was not able to crack the Republican Party. Bernie Sanders ran on a Democratic ticket because it was his only way for a breakthrough. Sure, Bernie can join some already existing party, creating his own or run as an independent. It would be enormously hurtful for Hillary and she would lose the election. As a Republican I don’t mind that Bernie split up the Democratic Party and becoming another Ross Perot.

If I was a leftist I would look at SYRIZA (Greece), Sinn Fein (Ireland) and Podemos (Spain). They are left-wing nationalist-populists and have become pretty successful in winning election. The Democrats has acted like the rest of the mainstream left in Europe. They have basically become spokespersons for separate interests and then pander to multiculturalism, internationalism and feminism is scope up minorities and women. Tony Blair did this and also adopted neo-conservatism. Has it been successful? Well, it was successful but not anymore as the white working class and lower middle class is about to leave them for the broader Alternative-Right.

The problem is humanity itself. No matter what system it has tried it always ends up in a collapse. Capitalism, socialism, fascism, Nazism, autocracy, theocracy, dictatorship, internationalism, nationalism, whatever you want to call it the substance is always the same. Humanity itself and its inner workings. Looking at history one sees nothing but a string of disasters punctuated by some successes. Looking into the future one sees the same. The attempt to create a New Man has failed miserably. The only thing one can do is to watch the developments around him, like the weather, and get ready for yet another calamity.

So we're going to have a new progressive party? Great, I'm a BernieBro who's all for the idea.

However, I have to point out that any progressive party of the 99% is going to have to paint a much more positive picture of Whites, especially White men, if it hopes to get anywhere in this White majority country.

Such a party would incorporate both acceptance of HBD and immigration patriotism as found so prominently in the comments here... a sort of "Alt-Left".

The original progressives had a certain muscular spirit, personified so well by "Bull Moose" Theodore Roosevelt, and I'd like to see that reclaimed. It's not enough to jettison the Democratic kowtowing to billionaires, globalists and Israel... we must also jettison flaccid victimology, bleeding-heart SJWism, and counter-factual narratives about the reality of sex and race differences.

Let's fight the oligarchs while acknowledging that Stale Pale Males are the originators of all the things that make this country great... that make people like the article author seek to pack up and move here from a place that did not have the benefit of Stale Pale Male guidance to anything like the same degree.

Let's put Facts above Feelings, as Liberals claim to want to do. Let's seek to understand differences and work with them as best we can, rather than pretend against all evidence that we are all the same. Diversity in how we think, not merely how we look.

  • This article is interesting to the extent that it reveals the ever widening fault line within the Democrat Party. Indeed, this phenomenon is a mirror image of what is simultaneously occurring within the Republican Party with the emergence of Don Trump. Both parties are, in reality, mirror images of each other, though the Democrat Party is more socially liberal than the Republican Party and as such has captured the zeitgeist; otherwise, both parties are run by the wine-and-cheese set. There is no room in either party for a white working class ethnic. Or an old-line socialist.

Perhaps we may yet see emerge what is long overdue–a truly viablemulti-party system which, for good or for ill, truly reflects the diversity of opinion in America.

Such a development may seem impossible to some and highly improbable to others, but who has a better idea? Please share it.

US of A meddling into the sovereign nations and South America has been disastrous for these nations who to not bow to US interests and meddling. This started in the 50's and destroyed many democratic elected governments thru sanctions and with CIA meddling and well placed infiltraitors and military backing coups.

    - Can you please diagnose Venezuela when you get a chance? Perhaps Socialism was not applied correctly in this case.
    - And please do not bring up Scandinavia in your diagnosis.

Any chance the US sees value in a Venezuela that abides by our interests? Of course there is - if you read ZeroHedge all day they won't mention all the nice little sanctions the US Treasury Department puts on the country, as well as the soft power movements on the ground. Blowing a country up in order to save it can be done in a couple of ways at least. Let's hope the PTB aren't intent on blowing up the US to save it, unless of course they already have.

  • I would love to see both parties destroyed. I’d love to see the federal mafia police state destroyed, but I fear it is all just a fantasy and no one person will be able to alter the course of this amerikan juggernaut into oblivion.
