Moms, if you are not BFFs with your Crock Pot – you are missing out on life. If you don’t own a Crock Pot or slow cooker, click on over to Amazon and buy yourself one right now. You will thank me. And the slow cookers start around $15 so you won’t be breaking the bank!
My goal with this blog is to share anything I learn as a mom raising kids (or in our case, THEM KIDS.) And something I learned well, it’s taken some time – is that life is chaotic. I am lucky to get a shower, brush my teeth and get more than 5 hours of sleep. Even with them kids getting older, now we have sports and church and what have you to deal with. Top all of that with the fact I am a working mom that virtual schools, we are busy. So any parenting hack that I find, I’ll take it. So I’ll confess….
The Crock Pot and me are in love. There is nothing better than dumping a few ingredients into the pot, setting it to low (or high) and walking away while the slow cooker does all the work. That’s right, it cooks and after 3 hours (high) or 6 hours (low), I can return with a smile on my face because good ol’ Crocky cooked our meal.
If you are looking for recipes for your crock pot – good news! I’m going to be sharing several with you over the next several weeks. This week, we are focusing on CHICKEN. That’s right, Chicken Crock Pot Recipes. So get your crock pots and chicken out, and let’s get crocking…
Wait, let’s pause — are you using Crock Pot Liners?? IF not, BUY THESE now and you won’t have to spend ANY time scrubbing that pot. You are welcome… carry on…
Happy Crocking or Crock Potting or Slow Cooking or whatever you call it!
