(Oct. 8, 2016) – Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), executive officer, Tony Pecoraro (left) and Seaman Austin Kimbley perform the ceremonial cake cutting at the 2016 Navy Ball, held in the Bangor Ball Room, NBK – Bangor. The oldest and youngest active-duty service members in attendance do the cake cutting. The Navy Ball is an annual event, which celebrates the heritage, history and the day Congress created the U.S. Navy, Oct. 13, 1775.
