NTR - Kathanayakudu is a biopic made on the life of legendary actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (fondly called as NTR). The film, which is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, will release in two parts.
Recently, the makers of the film took to social media to confirm the release date of NTR - Kathanayakudu. The first part, which will concentrate on NTR's film career, will release during Sankranti 2019. It is said that the film will hit the theatres on January 9.
The second part, which is titled NTR - Mahanayakudu will shed light on the political career of the iconic actor. The second part of the biopic will release on February 7, 2019.
The shooting of the biopic is currently underway in Hyderabad. The film has Balakrishna aka Balayya reprising his father's role. Rana Daggubati has been roped in to play the role of N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
NTR - Kathanayakudu will mark Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's debut in Tollywood. The film also has Rakul Preet, Nithya Menen and Hansika in guest roles.
