Fury FC signs young Canadian GK Jordan Tisseur

OTTAWA - With three weeks before the 2019 USL Championship season opener, Ottawa Fury FC has announced the signing of young Canadian goalkeeper Jordan Tisseur (TEE-sir), pending league and federation approval. Tisseur was invited to camp after being spotted by Fury FC staff at a showcase in January and has been training with the Ottawa club ever since.

Tisseur, a Montreal native, has spent the previous season with the Montreal Impact Academy U19 program. A young up-and-coming talent, Tisseur was 14 years old when he made his debut in the Canadian youth program at an identification camp in 2014.

Fury FC, now with 20 players at its disposal, is heading out to IMG Academy for the second portion of its preseason camp, where it will face two more opponents in the Philadelphia Union (Saturday, February 23,2PM) and the Icelandic club FH (Saturday, March 2, 5:30PM).

The Ottawa club kicks off its 2019 USL Championship season on Saturday, March 9 as it travels to face the Charleston Battery.
