    Guatemala Climate: Guatemala's climate varies according to altitude. The coastal regions and the northeast are hot throughout the year with an average temperature of 68°F sometimes rising to 99°F. Nights are clear all year round. The rainy season runs from May to September. Temperatures fall sharply at night.

    Electricity: Electricity in Guatemala is 120 Volts, alternating at 60 cycles per second. If you travel to Guatemala with a device that does not accept 120 Volts at 60 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter. Outlets in Guatemala generally accept a flat blade plug or two parallel flat pins with ground pin. If your plug has a different shape, you may need a plug adapter.
