Family visits
Visit the V&A for a fun and creative day out for all the family
Free activities are available every day and special workshops run during school holidays.
Lunch time
Children's meal deals and high chairs are available in our cafés.
Packed lunches can be eaten in the Sackler Centre for arts education Lunchroom or in The John Madejski Garden.
Breastfeeding
You are welcome to breastfeed throughout the Museum. Quiet spaces are available for those who prefer privacy
Maps
Use our interactive map to discover the many treasures in our galleries, find out where events are happening in the Museum or just check the location of the café, shops, toilets, lifts or cloakrooms.
Printed maps are available at all entrance points of the Museum, and you can also print a map of the V&A before your visit.
Toilet facilities
Toilets can be found on levels 0 to 4. Baby changing facilities are found on levels 0, 1, 2, and 4.

Cloakrooms
Cloakrooms can be found in the Grand Entrance and Exhibition Road Quarter.
All large bags and wheeled cases must be checked in.
Luggage is charged per item:
£1 - Coats, small bags, umbrellas, child scooters, prams and pushchairs.
£3 - Cabin bags (56cm x 45cm x 21cm).
£5 - Large bags, folding bikes and adult scooters.
Items cannot be accepted 30 minutes prior to the Museum closing.
A dedicated pushchair storage area is available in the Exhibition Road Quarter.
Access
Our galleries are fully accessible and we have a wide range of services for disabled visitors
Assistance dogs are welcome. Wheelchairs, walking frames, sound enhancement equipment for guided tours, large print maps and a full access guide to the Museum are available from the information desk in the Grand Entrance.
