Thanks for visiting The Adoptive Breastfeeding Resource Website.  This site was created in 1997 to serve the growing needs of Adoptive Parents desiring information.  We also support biological mother’s requiring support for inducing lactation after an unforeseen break.

Today the population of Adoptive Mother’s choosing to breastfeed is booming due to the information that has been shared on this site!

Many medical professionals, such as LLL Leaders, Lactation Consultants, Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurses have benefited from this site, as it provides a resource with which to educate their clients.

This site provides a supportive community where members  share their experiences/insights. People ARE seeing patterns emerging. This is facilitating  successful adoptive nursing experiences.

Success is in the eyes of the beholder.  I still agree that even the smallest amount of breastmilk, along with a good nursing relationship is very beneficial to our children.
