How to know if I can install dingux?
« on: May 29, 2010, 12:52:28 am »
Hi.

My nephew asked me to order a dingoo for him. Today it arrived from hongkong. From the printings, it's the same device, but the material of the bottom-case and some of the software (esp. roms/demos) seem to be a little different from my good old dingoo.
So, before I brick the device by trying to flash the bootloader, any advise?

Greetings.

short story: you can
long story: you might need the hwinit_2 (use the search), to flash it, who knows, but it's impossible to perma-brick a dingoo

does anybody setup CodeLite with cygwin+dingux_toolchane on Windows 7 32b?
i have a problem - linker cant fine library, it search it in native Linux path - /dingux/lib/libc.so.0

part of output of comliper/linker:
/cygdrive/c/cygwin/dingux/bin/../lib/gcc/mipsel-linux-uclibc/4.3.3/../../../../mipsel-linux-uclibc/bin/ld: cannot find /dingux/lib/libc.so.0

help me to finde solution =)

ps. if i put mipsel-linux-uclibc-ld instead of mipsel-linux-uclibc-g++ in build options
- compile/link return a series of errors, i think its wrong path to resolve problem

ps. sorry for my english
