Food for thought
In the past I have barely scratched the surface of my freaky eating habits. I understand exactly why and how Meg Ryan orders her food in "When Harry Met Sally", and I'm not ashamed to say so. Just in case you're reeeeally bored, here are my top 20 food neuroses. I'm sure Todd will think of a few others later!
BONUS ITEM: I cannot stand any type of eggs other than scrambled (or poached with the egg yolk broken and slightly mixed in before cooking). Don't even try to pop open a partially cooked egg yolk and sop that gooey crap up with toast in front of me. You will also be sopping up my projectile vomit. I can't even eat Cadbury Creme Eggs for this reason!
Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...
My gma makes the best chocolate gravy. Love that stuff.¤ ¤ credit: Ashley | 01.29.02 at 11:21 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

Yep, I was utterly nosy and read it all :) I loved it...I am anti-veggie and I know I am going to regret it later and I too kissed a girl and was straight then and straight now...I think this was a cool idea from Ashley :) I did one as well!¤ ¤ credit: felicia | 01.30.02 at 08:42 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

Cheryl, fried pickles are really hard to explain unless you've seen/had them. It's not like a big ol' fried dill pickle. They are *really* thin sliced "hamburger topper" pickles -- and then they are coated in a semi-sweet crunchy breading similar to fried cheesesticks or fried cheddar peppers. And we always get them topped with cheese. It sounds really strange, but it doesn't taste like a "pickle" -- kind of the same theory as a cheddar pepper not tasting just like eating a raw pepper. Sonic used to serve them when we were kids, but quit in the 90s -- and the only place in Oklahoma I know of that you can find them now is a drive-in back in Norman.
When I was in high school, we had an English exchange student, and I took her to lunch one day at Sonic. I ordered cheese pickle-o's, and I thought she was going to gag. So I begged her to "just try one". She did, and then a second, and then had me push the button to order her more! And she had her host family take her there again that night. And again... She wrote our class the next year, and said that was the thing she missed most about being in the U.S. LOL!¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 01.30.02 at 12:02 PM | link--this ¤ ¤
lol, I share a lot of those neuroses with you, especially #'s 5, 6, 9, 10, & 13 :D hehe...¤ ¤ credit: Shauna | 01.30.02 at 01:33 PM | link--this ¤ ¤
Shauna, I think my funniest no-tomato story was one time when we went to the Chik-Fil-A drive-thru. Todd opened up the bag, noticed my chicken sandwich had tomatoes on it, and asked them to remove it since I'd ordered it without. They came back with the wrapped sandwich and he just stuck it in the bag. We got about a block away and opened up the bag to nibble on the fries -- and I noticed they had given me my sandwich back, with NO TOP BUN! Yeah, we went back and I ripped them a new one -- and watched them make my next NEW sandwich (so they didn't spit on it). ;-)¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 01.30.02 at 01:51 PM | link--this ¤ ¤
hehe... it's so irritating when they do stuff that!!! I don't like tomatoes either, and I most certainly do not like mayonnaise.... I always tell them specifically "do not put mayonnaise on my sandwich"... and most of the time, they do it anyway.... I always take it back, then they act like I'm a freak for not wanting mayo.... grrrrrrrr!!! lol :P¤ ¤ credit: Shauna | 01.30.02 at 06:17 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

Hello from Turkiye! I hate tomatoes and I really do not eat any vegetables or fruit except for potatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, corn, apples, bananas. I eat all types of meat, chicken, fish, and pasta, plus lots of chocolate, junk food and coke. Yesterday I forced myself to eat a carrot, I could eat only half of it, but I felt like throwing up 2 times. I have problems with textures and with taste. I am seeking help because its a very serious problem for my health and also my cooking! (I can never taste what I cook for my husband, and it always has to be for 1 person!) Do you know of any websites for people who are extremely picky and almost "ill" about this subject? If so please write to me email@example.com Thank you.¤ ¤ credit: Gamze | 07.21.03 at 05:34 AM | link--this ¤ ¤
