IT might have only been Catherine McNeil and Abbey Lee Kershaw's second shot at New York Fashion Week, but the Australian models have already dressed to impress the US A-list.
Kershaw, the daughter of former AFL great Kim Kershaw and one-time Bondi resident, along with self-confessed "bogan" McNeil took the world by storm, fronting campaigns for top global fashion names including Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci.
So it was little surprise to see the catwalk queens turning celebrity heads at the Diane von Furstenberg show at New York Fashion Week HQ, Bryant Park, fashion editor Jen Melocco said.
Uma Thurman, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria were among stars to watch the hippy chic-inspired collection paraded by our feted fashionistas, who "are only doing high profile shows this time," Aussie agent Kathy Ward of Chic Models said.
