Jal Mahal or the Water Palace is built in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. The palace is best shot early morning or at sunset, when the last rays of the sun strike elegantly off the red sandstone of the palace walls.

The Gadsisar Lake is a rainwater lake surrounded by intrinsically carved temples and shrines and boasts of a magnificent sandstone archway that greets visitors at the entrance. Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

Built 1799 using red and pink sandstone, Hawa Mahal is one of Rajasthan’s most awe-inspiring pieces of architecture. Its unique five storied exteriors resembling a honeycomb is composed of 953 windows decorated with detailed latticework.
