Antibiotics vs. Bacteria: Fighting the Resistance

Antibiotics are medicines that fight bacterial infections. Used properly, they can save lives. But what if we couldn’t fight back against bacterial infections? Many types of common infectious bacteria are quickly gaining the ability to thwart our antibiotics, leaving infections much more difficult to treat.
