Fieldwork is at the core of the Society's mission, thus making the resulting data available through our publications is a key obligation towards our funders as well as the scientific community.

All volumes in print are available from our shop or from our North-American distributor, ISD.

Our main publication series are:

Excavation Memoirs

Results of the Society's major fieldwork projects, begun in 1885 with Edouard Naville's volume on Tell el Maskhuta.

Texts from Excavations

Results of the philological study of texts discovered by the Society.

Graeco-Roman Memoirs

Publication of the Greek papyri found by Grenfell and Hunt at Oxyrhynchus, but also other papyri and Graeco-Roman material held by the Society. The volumes are available individually or by subscription.

Journal of Egyptian Archaeology

A leading international journal for Egyptological research, published twice annually. EES members can choose to receive the Journal each year as part of their subscription.

Notes for contributors: The JEA is published by our partner SAGE Publishing. You can find submissions and style guidelines as well as information on the editorial board on the SAGE website.

Egyptian Archaeology
