“It was all a game, or a way of making a living,” said Joe Sobran about the Conservative Movement. And what it a living it is. Paul Ryan is cashing out and will not run for re-election. [US House Speaker Paul Ryan to retire in blow to Republicans, BBC, April 11, 2018] Like his fellow...

    nonsense.
O-care was meant to be garbage.
Look at Medicare which works even though it was not optimized.

Medicare works but has its problems. Outlays are increasing all the time because people are living much longer which requires hikes in the Medicare taxes or cuts in benefits that has happened as part of the Obamacare legislation. Or a combination of both.

Medicare for all would be a disaster. It can’t work in a nation of 330 million with a violent black and brown underclass and a massive and growing number of layabouts who don’t pay one red cent into the system.

Naturally this Republican lawmaker also blames the supposedly forthcoming “Blue Wave”

Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that he himself just pushed through a tax cut for the filthy rich while at the same time coming within a hair's breadth of realizing his obsession of gutting his bête noire, the SSDI program, throwing helpless paraplegics and schizophrenics out onto the streets. Because, you know, we just can't afford to take care of those people anymore and they're probably all malingering anyway. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

The GOP has now thrown nearly every major battle of the culture war and being a "conservative" now consists of basically two things:

    1) Howling for the blood of whatever nation it is that a certain other nation currently dislikes more than any other, and doing so twice as loudly and anyone in the DNC (which is pretty loud) and

    2) Stealing Tiny Tim's crutches so that they can be used for firewood in the Swiss chalets of your corporate donors.

God, what disgusting vermin these people are. Their only redeeming quality is that they can usually be forced by activists to protect our gun rights (even though they secretly despise the Second Amendment every bit as much as the Democrats.)

Youve got that right… the Republicans are just controlled opposition to keep the pro gun people content and happy, until it’s too late.

They already started to cave after Florida. The false flag shooting were already in place for the predicted result of a Hillary victory.

The Republicans would then slowly capitulate on protecting the 2A. Just like they’ve capitulated on every other issue. Their goal is to keep people happy until there is a brown majority to give the uniparty globalists total control over the USA.

Socialized medicine can probably work in smaller, racially homogeneous nations, but not places like America with a large and growing non-white underclass. But administering socialized medicine would require a bureaucracy of its own. Just look at Obamacare.

  • The next Republican House speaker will be selected by the donor class as they always are. Every Republican speaker has been a donor class whore to one degree or another.

Even if conservative stalwart Jimbo Jordan gets elected his conservative convictions will probably weaken and wane since playing ball with the donors means millions and millions of dollars and that’s almost impossible to pass up. Former Republican House speaker and pederast Dennis Hastert was worth about 190K when he was elected to speaker in 1999 but that increased to over 12 million dollars when he retired in 2007.

Thanks for the compliment, Mr. Partain.

I have been REMISS in not commenting for a coupla' days. Spring is FINALLY here!

Ah yes, spring indeed. I am reminded yearly why “April is the cruelest month”, as Eliot said.

Point well taken. As I said in my post, France’s system is showing signs of strain. I wonder if some of the more racially-homogeneous states or regions of the United States could set up a socialized or semi-socialized system of health care. France’s system of securité sociale does, of course, have a bureaucracy, although it contracts out some of the functions to private companies. For example, I submitted my securité sociale claims to Harmonie Mutuelle, a private company that also offers medical insurance.

Thanks for your comment. I have experience with the French system of nationalized health care (they call it securité social) and it works pretty well. Most people supplement it with private insurance (mutuelles) and it is beginning to strain under the weight of an aging population and much-less-healthy immigrants. But it doesn't cost nearly as much as in the U.S. and it doesn't have the bloated administrative and insurance bureaucracies. A lot of times, when you call a doctor, the doctor answers the phone; when you visit a doctor, he opens the door. Unthinkable in the U.S.

University professor Wilson was, in my opinion, a highly naïve man.
As was his advisor, 'Colonel' House.
That both just spoke english, maybe the main explanation of their behaviour that led to WWII.
Not the slightest idea about Germany.
German militarism, just the ability to organise.
USSR in 1941, they could not plan train transports.

In his treatise on Scientific Public Administration, Wilson only quoted one philosopher, Hegel. So, he was familiar with the works of that particular German.

Sorry but that is just more libertarian drivel. The purpose of licensing and regulation is to turn medicine from quackery (like it mostly was in the past) to something close to a science. Anybody used to be able to call himself a physician. Imagine if we did that today with today's advanced medicine. Periodically, we hear of stories about self-taught garage doctors in poor areas. About 40 years ago we had stories of coffee enemas in Mexico as a cancer cure. People will grasp onto anything to live longer.

Insurance exists for the same reason it exists everywhere else - to spread the risk around and allow people to have financial protection in the event of some highly unlikely unforeseen event. That has nothing to do with the government. If this is an attempt to blame Obamacare or company paid heath insurance it is misplaced. Obamacare was just trying to use the existing "free market" system we had and company paid health insurance was a long fought for benefit made possible by the sacrifices of union members a long time ago, not the government. Companies followed up by giving their exempt employees the same benefits.

Insurance companies have taken over payment because the hospitals accept their payment. Nobody is required to take any insurance company's reimbursement schedule. They do so because they know they are still making money and need the business. Insurance companies are not making the costs of expensive therapies expensive - they usually pay 10-15% of the bill on those exorbitant bills. The expensive therapies are made possible by current medical research and, like all research findings, once become common place, are made cheaper and more accessible by more people and lead to further advances in medical technology. Do you want medical science to stop dead in its tracks?

America's downfall has come at the hands of the morally inferior Zionist Jews.

How true. Jews' ascendance in the west has little to do with their self-proclaimed "high IQ" but much more to do with their tribalism and dishonesty.

The first person to claim Ashkenazi Jews have the highest IQ was Richard Hernstein, himself an Ashknenazi Jew, what a coincidence. Charles Murray the goy was brought in as co-author of The Bell Curve to legitimize his claim, Murray signed on to make a name for himself. Since then Jews have been throwing around that claim to justify their take over of the media, academia, Nobel prize, the judiciary and especially the Ivy League.

Jewish dominance on Wall Street was all based on tribalism and deceit. Jews only hire and promote other Jews, especially from the handful of schools. Jews are not smarter, they're just more cunning aka dishonest. Dishonest people often make honest people look stupid in comparison. Jewish success in capitalism is largely based on their dishonesty and ruthlessness. They have no qualms about cheating anyone out of every penny as long as they don't get caught, and even if they do, their dominance in law including on Capitol Hill, K street and the judiciary means they often get off the hook.

Could not agree more. I don’t buy this ‘Jewish Herrenvolk’ theory that a surprising number of alt-Righties seem to swallow. Ashkenazic Jews are white, and I don’t believe they, on average, are any smarter than the rest of the whites. But a lot of HBD types here–if they aren’t careful–could end up falling for this idea that they’re all a bunch of natural-born geniuses.

Beware: this is one of the way in which they may try and infiltrate the alt-Right, the other being Zionism – ‘Hey, we like ethnic nation-states, too!’

    Beware …

I couldn't AGREE more, even if did have the authority to use the HTML button, Mr. Partain. I especially agree with you on the solution to Obamacare which almost NOBODY (maybe lewrockwell types) understand due to free markets being alost too difficult a concept for most people anymore.

As for Mr. Trump, yeah, nobody figured this guy had real libertartian or even solid conservative principles - it just looked like, as a candidate, he was on the right wrt the "invade-the-world/invite-the-world" policy, as in END IT. It'd been best if he hadn't put any of his finger-tweeting energy into the Obamacare mess. Mr. Trump would be the last guy to POSSIBLY understand what a free market* is, as his experience in big-money NY City real estate would wipe out any vestige of thoughts like that.

    1) Howling for the blood of whatever nation it is that a certain other nation currently dislikes more than any other, and doing so twice as loudly and anyone in the DNC (which is pretty loud) and

    2) Stealing Tiny Tim’s crutches so that they can be used for firewood in the Swiss chalets of your corporate donors.

Government had everything to do with it, from establishing the licensing system to giving insurance companies custom crafted legislation that allowed them their takeover of the means of negotiating payment. Income tax regulations resulted in employers making partial payment to employees in medical insurance to shelter some of their pay from the income tax.

None of the mess that exists now would be possible without government interference, and most of it was already in place before these "million dollar therapies" were invented. The high cost of those therapies are made possible by the control that insurers have over the payment systems, and that control is a direct gift to the insurance industry from government.

There’s another reason for Paul Ryan’s treasonous mass immigration policies — his Catholic faith. Catholicism bills itself as the “universal religion” and encourages mass immigration, which is why it goes out of its way to protect hispanic illegal immigrants who are mostly “Catholic”, but there’s more, there’s also sponsorship of Muslim refugees which is turning out to be a lucrative business for the Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church.

Paul Ryan is a Treasonous Leprechaun Catholic in Teutonic Wisconsin, that is true. Paul Ryan's hatred for Protestant America might indeed have fueled his intense desire to culturally degrade and destroy the United States using mass immigration as a demographic weapon.

There are a lot of patriotic Irish people in Wisconson, Paul Ryan is not one of them.

Pope Tango has waltzed off the deep end with his crazed push for nation-wrecking open borders mass immigration. Pope Tango pushes mass immigration because he sees it as the best way to destroy European Christian nations. Pope Tango preaches the glories of open borders mass immigration while he is safe and snug behind the 50 foot high walls of the Vatican.

Pope Tango should be kicked out of the Vatican on his fat geezer ass and then he should be deported to the Congo.

Government horned in and created what we have now.

Government had nothing to do with it. Million dollar therapies was what caused the mess. You can have "affordable free-market" healthcare as long as people with cancer and serious heart disease get no treatment. Add in birth defects, premature babies, and orphan drugs treating a handful of people. Why stop there, add in therapies that make life more enjoyable for the eldery like joint replacement, back surgeries, and pain management.

It all comes down to the ridiculous legally enforcable bills people are being saddled with if they don't have heath insurance.

Things that killed people 40 years ago and were thought hopeless have therapies now but the costs are astronomical and open ended. Who gets to decide who shouldn't have a new operation or procedure - especially if the person is otherwise healthy. A guy I knew was on his second (and last chance) bone marrow transplant to treat his leukemia. He got about 3 years from the first procedure. He had insurance but you can be sure the insurance company would have been happy to cancel his policy right after his first office visit to the oncologist.

Government had everything to do with it, from establishing the licensing system to giving insurance companies custom crafted legislation that allowed them their takeover of the means of negotiating payment. Income tax regulations resulted in employers making partial payment to employees in medical insurance to shelter some of their pay from the income tax.

So I'm told, but we've managed to socialize medical care for the poor, the elderly, the veterans, and every federal, state, and municipal employee in the country. Every other developed and not-so-developed state has managed to do it. I have talked to Canadians up and down the economic spectrum, and no horror story you can document sways them from their beloved single-payor.

A lot of questions start getting asked once you look at socializing medical care. Immigration priorities align around net tax payors. Birthright citizenship gets a second look. Companies either fund plans for their H1-B employees, or they don't get H1-B's. Tort reform and the appalling trial lawyers' lobby; military budgets far greater than the other superpowers combined; foreign intervention boondoggles; self-destructive lifestyles--a lot of things start getting scrutinized.

Somebody is going to propose this and run with it, just like somebody proposed SS/Medicare, national highways, and national parks.

Thanks for your comment. I have experience with the French system of nationalized health care (they call it securité social) and it works pretty well. Most people supplement it with private insurance (mutuelles) and it is beginning to strain under the weight of an aging population and much-less-healthy immigrants. But it doesn’t cost nearly as much as in the U.S. and it doesn’t have the bloated administrative and insurance bureaucracies. A lot of times, when you call a doctor, the doctor answers the phone; when you visit a doctor, he opens the door. Unthinkable in the U.S.

Socialized medicine can probably work in smaller, racially homogeneous nations, but not places like America with a large and growing non-white underclass. But administering socialized medicine would require a bureaucracy of its own. Just look at Obamacare.

Thank you moderator for blocking Thomm’s comment. We’d all be happier if all his comments were blocked.

    Again, thanks so much.

He’s (apparently) a rabid ‘upper caste’ Hindoo with a visceral hatred of white society and a fondless to replace us here with his kinsmen from out there. They have a very supremacist world view that aligns very neatly with that of the “tribe”, our current overlords!

I mean look at that place. Last time I checked, an eight year girl was drugged, gang raped and then stoned to death and the lawyers in that area are protesting _for_ the culprits to be released as the victim and the perpetrators are from different religious backgrounds, the girl being from one of the minorities there (an effin 8 yr old doesn’t know nothing abt religion damn it!!). I ask Thomm to show me one, just one instance in which whites have behaved in this tribal manner in the recent past. Can you Thomm?

Such a fractured place! And he wan’ts us to be filled with their lot! HE claims he wants only the brainy ones but don’t they all bring their cultural baggage with them?

There's another reason for Paul Ryan's treasonous mass immigration policies -- his Catholic faith. Catholicism bills itself as the "universal religion" and encourages mass immigration, which is why it goes out of its way to protect hispanic illegal immigrants who are mostly "Catholic", but there's more, there's also sponsorship of Muslim refugees which is turning out to be a lucrative business for the Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church.

Ryan not only enthusiastically voted for Obama's refugee sponsorship program which gives churches $10,000 per refugee sponsored, but even expanded the program to bring in more refugees. The Catholic church and the Lutheran church are making money hand over fist with this Muslim importation scheme. Obama wanted to bring in 100,000 Muslim refugees a year, that's $1 Billion a year in sponsorship money for these churches, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Devout Catholic Ryan sees this as a way to funnel more tax dollars to his beloved Catholic church, wrecking the country to benefit his church.

Trump should've replaced him as soon as he got elected, but he allowed Ryan to stay because of Pence. Pence and Ryan are tight, both are religious freaks who love mass immigration. Pence is also a neocon who's been to Israel 8 times and has never met a war he didn't like. Good Riddance is right. The next one to go should be McConnell, then Pence. Both are mega swamp creatures like Ryan. Pence was responsible for keeping Ryan on, and bringing in swamp creatures like Haley, Bolton, Rosenstein, McMaster, Cohn, etc. to Trump's cabinet. If Trump runs for reelection, he absolutely must replace Pence.

Pence is a fanatic Christian Zionist. Maybe plan B, if hildabeast lost is to impeach trump and replace him with fanatic Zionist pence?????

It’s been pretty obvious since 4/am the day after the election that the swamp is out to get trump removed.

Even though Mueller only exists (the GOP certainly gave the green-light for his appointment) and is free to continue to run around like the America Gestapo because the GOP Congress has sworn to impeach Trump if he fires him!

The GOP Congress reminds me of that story about the guy who murdered his parents and then asked the court for mercy on the grounds that he was now an orphan. They’re waging all out war on their own, generally popular with Republican voters President … and then blaming their resultant unpopularity on that President.

  • If the Democrats win big in the Congressional elections this Fall, it will be entirely due to themselves and not to Trump, who polls far better with the public than Congress or the GOP does.

The GOP Congress, and the GOP Senate in particular, have bent over backwards to try to lose their majority position. They know what the public wants from them, they hate what the public wants from them, and so they give the public the finger and do what THEY want to do instead. Then they have the audacity to blame their unpopularity on Trump.

The Democrats are so bad there should be no possible way to lose to them. But when your party is populated by closet leftists, as the GOP is, this is what happens.

There once was a working system of medicine here. It wasn't national, and it wasn't called "healthcare". It was a for-profit system, loosely organized by medical doctors and some private charities and a few churches. People got the medical care they needed for the most part and those who couldn't pay got much better care than the same segment of the population does now.

Government horned in and created what we have now. The last thing we need is anything national whether it's medical care, schools, or anything else. The way you talk about it shows that you're clued in about as well as old James is.

No political party is going to figure anything out, other than how to get themselves paid and how to get more power and influence. Too bad you can't see it.

Government horned in and created what we have now.

Government had nothing to do with it. Million dollar therapies was what caused the mess. You can have “affordable free-market” healthcare as long as people with cancer and serious heart disease get no treatment. Add in birth defects, premature babies, and orphan drugs treating a handful of people. Why stop there, add in therapies that make life more enjoyable for the eldery like joint replacement, back surgeries, and pain management.

It all comes down to the ridiculous legally enforcable bills people are being saddled with if they don’t have heath insurance.

Things that killed people 40 years ago and were thought hopeless have therapies now but the costs are astronomical and open ended. Who gets to decide who shouldn’t have a new operation or procedure – especially if the person is otherwise healthy.

None of the mess that exists now would be possible without government interference, and most of it was already in place before these "million dollar therapies" were invented. The high cost of those therapies are made possible by the control that insurers have over the payment systems, and that control is a direct gift to the insurance industry from government.

    And yet:
By May 1945 they had kicked the German armies out of Russia, Poland, Hungary, Rumania, etc.
As an imaginative/intellectual exercise, assume that the Normandy invasions had failed:
By July 1945, the Russian armies would have stood on the Eastern shore of the English Channel and would have been drinking red plonk in Paris.
Imagine a Europe from the Channel to the Urals all bathed in Stalinist Red. And then Stalin turns that strength to Manchuria, to the lame Japanese Armies, to the whole of the Korean peninsula and to Mao's China. What a reality that would have been,
    but instead:
By August 1945, the Russian Army had kicked the Japanese armies out of Manchuria, Sakhalin, the Kuril Islands, taken half of Korea and were preparing to invade Hokkaido.
    They learned quickly and well.
And they have not forgotten the lessons.

By May 1945 they had kicked the German armies out of Russia, Poland, Hungary, Rumania, etc.

    Wilson and House did that?

President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen was recently raided by the FBI for matters having absolutely nothing to do with “Russian collusion.”

I have complained before about authors of articles here making statements that show they have done no research .

Cohen had a Russian connection thru the same Russian oligarchs and characters as Trump and Kushner in Cohen's real estate investments. Moreover he is connected, thru his Ukrainian wife's family, to the Jewish money laundering mob operating in and out of the Ukraine and Russia.
Mueller had a tip on Cohen's foreign money men (but the initial tip didnt tie Trump to it). What it did do was give Mueller reason to believe that Cohen was involved in some financial crimes...and as per his investigational authority....he turned over that information to the NY authority who then had the FBI raid his home and office.
The NY authority will look at all Cohen records and if they find anything that relates to Trump they will refer that back to Mueller.
Where it might come back to Trump is in how Cohen paid off women for Trump and also if he directed any donations to Trump from his Ukrainian and Russian mob friends thru real estate deals.

I can' t put my months of research into the mob...and it is a mob.....on here, its way too much to explain to those who haven't looked into Trump's connections, the connections of his advisors, the connections of Trump to the connections of his 'trusted friends'......and all the connections of the connections to each other.......its a big Mob Circle with satellite mobs.

What we have in the WH is a mob, period. Trump is just the idiot figure head of all the various mob interest, the Israeli casino Jews like Adelson, the international Jewish mobsters into money laundering, the various Russian and Ukrainian criminals also into money laundering .
The WH and the people brought onto it are the most corrupt in the history of the country.

    Birds of a feather …….

A Brief History of Trump’s Lawyer , Michael Cohen’s, Criminal Ties

    https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/michael-cohens-ties-to-russia-crime-and-trump-w518941

    some excerpts……

”Cohen was introduced to Donald Trump by his father-in-law, Fima Shusterman, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Ukraine who arrived in the U.S. in 1975. Shusterman was in the garment business and owned a fleet of taxicabs with his partners, Shalva Botier and Edward Zubok – all three men were convicted of a money-laundering related offense in 1993.

“Fima may have been a (possibly silent) business partner with Trump, perhaps even used as a conduit for Russian investors in Trump properties and other ventures,” a former federal investigator told me. “Cohen, who married into the family, was given the job with the Trump Org as a favor to Shusterman.”

In the 1990s, there was an informal group of federal and local law enforcement agents investigating the Russian Mafiya in New York that called themselves “Red Star.” They shared information they learned from informants. It was well known among the members of Red Star that Cohen’s father-in-law was funneling money into Trump ventures. Several sources have told me that Cohen was one of several attorneys who helped money launderers purchase apartments in a development in Sunny Isles Beach, a seaside Florida town just north of Miami. This was an informal arrangement passed word-of-mouth: “We have heard from Russian sources that … in Florida, Cohen and other lawyers acted as a conduit for money.”
Kenneth McCallion, a former prosecutor who tracked the flows of Russian criminal money into Trump’s properties, told me, “Trump’s genius – or evil genius – was, instead of Russian criminal money being passive, incidental income, it became a central part of his business plan.”
Cohen joined the Trump Organization around the time that the second Sunny Isles tower was being built. A few years earlier, he had invested $1.5 million in a short-lived Miami-based casino boat venture run by his two Ukrainian business partners, Arkady Vaygensberg and Leonid Tatarchuk. Only three months after its maiden voyage, it would become the subject of a large fraud investigation. But Cohen was saved from his bad investment by none other than Trump himself, who hired Cohen as an attorney just before his casino ship sank. A source who investigated Cohen’s connections to Russia told me, “Say you want to get money into the country and maybe you’re a bit suspect. The Trump organization used lawyers to allow people to get money into the country.”

Residents at Sunny Isles included people like Vladimir Popovyan, who paid $1.17 million for a three-bedroom condo in 2013. Forbes Russia described Popovyan as a friend and associate of Rafael Samurgashev, a former championship wrestler who ran a criminal group in Rostov-on-Don in southeastern Russia.
Peter Kiritchenko, a Ukrainian businessman arrested on fraud charges in San Francisco in 1999, and his daughter owned two units at Trump Towers in Sunny Isles Beach worth $2.56 million. (Kiritchenko testified against a corrupt former Ukrainian prime minister who was convicted in 2004 of money laundering.) Other owners of Trump condos in Sunny Isles include members of a Russian-American organized crime group that ran a sports betting ring out of Trump Tower, which catered to wealthy oligarchs from the former Soviet Union. Michael Barukhin, who was convicted in a massive scheme to defraud auto insurers with phony claims, lived out of a Trump condo that was registered to a limited liability corporation.

Selling units from the lobby of the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles was Baronoff Realty. Elena Baronoff, who died of cancer in 2015, was the exclusive sales agent for three Trump-branded towers. Glenn Simpson, who spent a year investigating Trump’s background during the campaign, testified before the House Intelligence Committee that Baronoff was a “suspected organized crime figure.”

An Uzbek immigrant who arrived in the United States as a cultural attaché in public diplomacy from the Soviet Union, Baronoff became such a well-known figure in Sunny Isles Beach that she was named the international ambassador for the community. Baronoff accompanied Trump’s children on a trip to Russia in the winter of 2007–2008, posing for a photo in Moscow with Ivanka and Eric Trump and developer Michael Dezer. Also in the photo, curiously, was a man named Michael Babel, a former senior executive of a property firm owned by Oleg Deripaska, the Russian metals tycoon Paul Manafort allegedly offered personal updates on Trump’s presidential campaign. Babel later fled Russia to evade fraud charges.
Baronoff had interesting connections to Sicily. She reportedly met her friend, the Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, there. Baronoff was also close with Dino Papale, a local businessman, who described himself to The New York Times as “president of Trump’s Sicilian fan club,” while sporting a red “Make America Great Again” cap. Days after Trump’s election in November, the local newspaper, La Sicilia, quoted Papale at length describing Trump’s secret visit to the island in 2013. Papale hinted that he organized meetings between Trump and Russians.

Michael Cohen’s in-laws, the Shustermans, also bought real estate in Sunny Isles. The development was paying off. Trump’s oldest son, Don Jr., would later note, “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.” There is no question Trump owed his comeback in large part to wealthy Russian expatriates.

[Donald Trump, Tevfik Arif and Felix Sater (right) attend the Trump Soho Launch Party on September 19, 2007 in New York. Mark Von Holden/WireImage]

Cohen and Felix Sater have known each other for nearly 30 years. They met in Brighton Beach when Cohen started dating his future wife, Shusterman’s daughter, Laura, who Sater says he knew from the neighborhood. When Cohen joined the Trump organization, Sater had become a fixture in the office. Sater was developing Trump SoHo, a hotel-condo in lower Manhattan that later would be consumed by scandal, and had earned Trump’s trust. Trump asked him to look after his children, Ivanka and Don Jr., on a 2006 visit to Moscow. (It was during the Moscow trip that Sater used his Kremlin connections to impress Trump’s daughter. Sater would later boast: “I arranged for Ivanka to sit in Putin’s private chair at his desk and office in the Kremlin.”) When Sater’s criminal past was exposed in The New York Times, Trump suddenly looked and acted like a man with something to hide. Despite laying claim to “one of the great memories of all time,” he seemed to be having trouble recollecting who Sater was. “Felix Sater, boy, I have to even think about it,” Trump told The Associated Press in 2015. “I’m not that familiar with him.” Sater flatly contradicted Trump’s version of their relationship. In a little-noticed interview with a Russian publication, Snob, Sater was asked if his criminal past was a problem for Trump. “No, it was not. He makes his own decision regarding each and every individual.”

"Trump" is a name that better discribes groups rather than the man, that are working, through him temporarily, to reverse the decline of humanity into psychopath elitist global control.
Most articles focus on the more temporary events, while failing to research the long term, even generational, might I say, millennial struggles.... between those of reason & altruistic vision, and those of chaotic extreme self-interest.
While it might look like we're losing, it's just another small battle in a long term war. I think, overall, we are winning!

One more point in reply, Mr. Partain - I would not be too hard on Mr. Kirkpatrick. I found that he and another James, Mr. Fulford are basically the Meat and Potatoes of VDare.com, one of my favorite websites and the very best on the immigration topic.

However, like most people on unz, also, they have this idea that libertarians are all "open borders" and supporters of Facebutt and Google. Where they get all that, I have no damn idea. Anyway, Kirkpatrick is definitely on our side, but I agree completely with your assesment of this article.

A “nationalist trade agenda” and “populist economic policies” are hallmarks of the fake conservatism that the GOP has dangled as solutions to the mess that government activism has caused. Those two ideas are just more government activism.

I am deeply sympathetic to the idea of a night watchman-state. But we are never going to have that in a country with a population of 320 million so I want my tribe in charge. Somebody is going to exercise power with that $3+T in tax revenues and reserve currency status and it better be us. The alternative is not pleasant.

Somewhere in all that wealth and power is enough loose change in the sofa cushions to fund a workable national health care system, and the party that figures it out will be in power for the next two generations. Colleges are "non-profit" and get numerous government-funded grants and guaranteed loan dollars--they can be told to charge whatever tuition we want. IP is artificial scarcity; we can junk most if not all of it. Both are "activist" reforms that would go a long way towards weakening toxic, anti-conservative institutions. "Free" trade is literally killing people, and you are going to pay for the consequences at the cash register or with welfare transfer payments--one of these is less dystopic and dysgenic. If we must allow at least some immigration from all those places that are, as usual, failing (and apparently we must), there is probably something that can be done with foreign policy (which, again, somebody is going to wield) to get these places accountable for being responsible and livable.

The status quo of conservatives and libertarians punching right from safe, lucrative think tanks and congressional districts and bureaucratic posts while not actually accomplishing anything must end.

He had insurance but you can be sure the insurance company would have been happy to cancel his policy right after his first office visit to the oncologist.

what a load of crap, and you think Zionist trump is the exception, based on what, media reports...lol

Trump is a zionist whore, and at this point if you can't see that, maybe you are too.

The only enemy America has is Zionism, and Trump is a self proclaimed zionist.

Z…m not the only enemy of America. Jewry (Zionism is the Palestine grabbing wing) is the most powerful of America’s enemies.

The enemy(s) of America is/are trying to take down Trump using any means.

May be a Zionist of some sort. A whore? No.

Saul Ryan combines several aspects of America’s enemies: A puppet (to Jewry), a traitor, greed (self and paymasters first). A liar, a weasel.

    Saul R. is Hell bound.

    * As a comparison, here is my experience with free market healthcare in China. At the everyday level, it beats the hell out of what goes on here. ( Continued - in order - here, here, and here)

Good work on those articles, Mr. Newman. You put a lot of thought into that subject, I can tell.

It is unimportant what a politican says, important is what he does.
Trump indeed makes idiotic statements, I did not until now see him execute idiotic deeds.

“I did not until now see him execute idiotic deeds.”

It would take a practiced eye and familiarity with a lot of American characters to have seen how badly he was ruining his own chances at being able to accomplish anything during his “team assembly” phase. You can be excused for not seeing it, since you have your own government to try to keep an eye on, but plenty of Americans didn’t see him doing anything stupid until now.

During the appointment process, his fans were shouting down anyone who would say something like, “WTF is he appointing Sessions to anything for?” or “Oh, shit! Say it ain’t so” about any of the other assholes he appointed. A few retards on ZH kept saying “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” every time Trump would appoint somebody who was sure to stab him in the back.

That’s pure idiocy. You don’t keep an enemy close by giving him the keys to your office.

BULL SHIT, the "European (Europe is capitalized asshole) colonists" are indeed intellectually superior, America;s downfall has come at the hands of the morally inferior Zionist Jews.

Chump is 100% zionist filth, and HE FILLED THE SWAMP, so sell your BS some where else.

Chump is backed by Sheldon Adleson and Peter THiel, two Zionist billionaires, that would not back an American patriot, but a zionist shill like Trump.

The idea that America's savior would be a man who comes from Jew York City, backed by Jew bankers, and whose business is run by Zionist Jews, kids married to Zionist Jews, is beyond laughable...Zionisms being the antithesis of America, America's values and morals, instead Zionism is a culture of hate, division, and extreme racism.

America’s downfall has come at the hands of the morally inferior Zionist Jews.

How true. Jews’ ascendance in the west has little to do with their self-proclaimed “high IQ” but much more to do with their tribalism and dishonesty.

Jews are not smarter, they’re just more cunning aka dishonest. Dishonest people often make honest people look stupid in comparison. Jewish success in capitalism is largely based on their dishonesty and ruthlessness. They have no qualms about cheating anyone out of every penny as long as they don’t get caught, and even if they do, their dominance in law including on Capitol Hill, K street and the judiciary means they often get off the hook.

Could not agree more. I don't buy this 'Jewish Herrenvolk' theory that a surprising number of alt-Righties seem to swallow. Ashkenazic Jews are white, and I don't believe they, on average, are any smarter than the rest of the whites. But a lot of HBD types here--if they aren't careful--could end up falling for this idea that they're all a bunch of natural-born geniuses.

Beware: this is one of the way in which they may try and infiltrate the alt-Right, the other being Zionism - 'Hey, we like ethnic nation-states, too!'

All nonsense, there is only ONE "ism" at work in America, and that is Zionism.

Trump like Clinton, like Ryan, are actors, those who read from a script given to them by our Zionist masters.

If you work in any aspect of governemnt, you see the hand of the Anti-White, pro-"multiculturalism", pro-Israel, working all the time.

Years ago the Zionist Jews created the central banking system, and basically control all the money, and with all the money comes all the power. Anyone for sale, has been purchased, and those few brave men who stood up against the evil, were killed, while America stood by and watched.

Trump is a self proclaimed Zionist, and you cannot be a Zionist and an American patriot, the two are mutually exclusive. Trump has been owned by the Zionists for decades. Trump's words deceive, his actions don't.

Agree. Zionists now control the west. The only countries that matter that refuse to fall in their fold are the Russians and the Iranians+Assad. Hence the relentless attacks on these countries. The Chinese are not in their fold either, but they only care about doing business and cannot be trusted, they’ll wait for the west and Russia/Iran/Syria to duke it out, then cozy up to the eventual winner.

It was never really Trump I was interested in; it was Trump-ism. Like most people here, I wanted the government to cut back on immigration, 'free' trade, and foreign wars. I was always wary of Trump, not because I disliked him personally--I don't know him personally--but because he had no experience in politics, and it was obvious that he had no friends in Washington. I wondered what he could accomplish if elected (not that I expected him to win anyway).

Well, this has all turned out as I had feared: Trump is a total hostage to the establishment's agenda, even though that establishment has done nothing to advance Trump's agenda in return. Trump really only has two cards left to play here: 1.) fire Mueller and 2.) use the bully pulpit to denounce the establishment and it evil agenda. He occasionally plays at #2, but it's time for the gloves to come off now. It's just obvious that the GOP is running out the clock until the midterms, so that they can then blame Trump for their defeat and go back to (big) business as usual.

Well said. Trump the man is now divorced from Trumpism. I believe this whole Mueller investigation has forced his hands. Since Jeff Sessions is so damn weak, he needs to be the man and fire Jeff Sessions. Bring in Giuliani who will then fire Rosenstein and Mueller, clean house in the DOJ, FBI and CIA, and launch an investigation into the whole Clinton Foundation-Mueller-Comey-Loretta Lynch collusion that is the single biggest political scandal in US history. Shame on Jeff Sessions for not launching an investigation. He is weak and worthless.

Wilson had a girl friend who had a son. By the time Wilson was President the son was grown and needed about $30k to set himself in business.

The mother contacted multi millionaire Zionist San Untermeyer. Untermeyer was a leader of the American Jewish community that was very anti German and pro interventionist on England’s side.

So Untermeyer and the mother black mailed Wilson. Personally, I don’t see why Wilson could not have paid the $30k himself.

Probably paying the blackmail himself wouldn’t have helped, Untermeyer would have just used the threat of exposure anyway.

Wilson was in his second term, not facing re election. The son was an adult. Jefferson and Cleveland were both elected amid rumors of illegitimate children.

The exposure would disgraced Wilson but not harmed him politically.

By July 1945, the Russian armies would have stood on the Eastern shore of the English Channel and would have been drinking red plonk in Paris.
Imagine a Europe from the Channel to the Urals all bathed in Stalinist Red. And then Stalin turns that strength to Manchuria, to the lame Japanese Armies, to the whole of the Korean peninsula and to Mao’s China. What a reality that would have been,
    but instead:
By August 1945, the Russian Army had kicked the Japanese armies out of Manchuria, Sakhalin, the Kuril Islands, taken half of Korea and were preparing to invade Hokkaido.
    They learned quickly and well.

And that, my friends, is why I am not a capitalist; that is why I am a national socialist. I have nothing at all against state ownership or control of certain key sectors, such as healthcare, banking and defense. The key issue for me is who owns or controls the state. Much else flows from that fact as a natural consequence. Personally, I want the state to be controlled by me and mine.

I generally agree with your statement above, but I do believe the best we can do at this stage in human evolution is a mixed economy, rather than pure socialism or capitalism. Both systems acting on their own lead to tyranny and destitution. In terms of healthcare, private sector hospitals and doctors mixed with public sector single-payer insurance makes sense.

There’s another reason for Paul Ryan’s treasonous mass immigration policies — his Catholic faith. Paul Ryan is a Treasonous Leprechaun Catholic in Teutonic Wisconsin, that is true. Paul Ryan’s hatred for Protestant America might indeed have fueled his intense desire to culturally degrade and destroy the United States using mass immigration as a demographic weapon.

  • President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen was recently raided by the FBI for matters having absolutely nothing to do with “Russian collusion.”

I have complained before about authors of articles here making statements that show they have done no research .

Cohen had a Russian connection thru the same Russian oligarchs and characters as Trump and Kushner in Cohen’s real estate investments. Moreover he is connected, thru his Ukrainian wife’s family, to the Jewish money laundering mob operating in and out of the Ukraine and Russia.
Mueller had a tip on Cohen’s foreign money men (but the initial tip didnt tie Trump to it). What it did do was give Mueller reason to believe that Cohen was involved in some financial crimes…and as per his investigational authority….he turned over that information to the NY authority who then had the FBI raid his home and office.

I can’ t put my months of research into the mob…and it is a mob…..on here, its way too much to explain to those who haven’t looked into Trump’s connections, the connections of his advisors, the connections of Trump to the connections of his ‘trusted friends’……and all the connections of the connections to each other…….its a big Mob Circle with satellite mobs.

A Brief History of Trump's Lawyer , Michael Cohen’s, Criminal Ties

    https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/michael-cohens-ties-to-russia-crime-and-trump-w518941

    some excerpts……

But we are never going to have that in a country with a population of 320 million so I want my tribe in charge. Somebody is going to exercise power with that $3+T in tax revenues and reserve currency status and it better be us. The alternative is not pleasant.

Ryan like the rest of the U.S. gov is under the control of Zionist neocons and most importantly ISRAEL and that combination is destroying America.

Exactly, and reading these comments, would be maddening if not for the knowledge that many of them are Zionist hasbara paid trolls.

The idea that anyone would get to Washington without being a paid whore to Israel is ludicrous, and that goes double for Chump.

Just like Obama, the media focuses on what their fellow Zionist in the white house say, NOT what they actually do, to focus on.

Trump appoints zionist after zionist, deports NO ONE, and more more and more troops to the ME, yet because he says he “wants out of Syria”, that is all the media focuses on, NOT what the lying shit is actually doing…

I wrote this a few years ago about Paul Ryan and immigration:

PAUL RYAN SAYS: "WE DON'T HAVE CONTROL OF OUR BORDERS"

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan(R-WI) is a mass immigration enthusiast who continues to specialize in weasel word political language. Occasionally, Ryan tells a whopper untruth so vile that it signals the linguistic sonar ping depths of Ryan's political putrescence. In other words, Ryan is a lying whore politician.

Ryan appeared on a corporate propaganda apparatus television program and stated that, "We don't have control of our borders." That is a disgusting misrepresentation of historical reality over the last 40 years.

The truth is that in the 1960s and 1970s decisions were made by treasonously evil plutocrats to deliberately destroy the U.S. as a culturally cohesive nation-state. In short, the U.S. was to be globalized and transformed into a multicultural economic region more congenial to plutocrat plundering. It is only now that the ancestral core of the U.S. is beginning to accurately perceive the malignant machinations behind current immigration policies.

Contrary to Ryan's politician-whore claims, the reason that "we don't have control of our borders" is that treasonous plutocratic filth have deliberately relinquished operational control of our borders. Equally important, interior immigration law enforcement mechanisms have been substantially weakened. For 40 years, and including presidential administrations of both Democrats and Republicans, immigration policy has been allowed to run riotously free. This has been by treasonous design.

Ryan has been one of the most belligerently anti-border, anti-sovereignty whore politicians in the swamp city on the Potamac. Perhaps Ryan developed his fanatical mass immigration proclivity by his early exposure and tutelage to the notorious open-borders extremist Jack Kemp. Kemp's deranged mass immigration boosterism can be explained by possible brain injuries he might have suffered while playing football. Ryan's treasonous mass immigration support most likely derives from the fact that he is a no good go-along-to-get-along politician prostitute.

Some have suggested that Ryan's rancid mass immigration extremism is a result of his libertarian-derived economism. This means that pissant Paul Ryan doesn't have the guts to look at the entirety of the mass immigration question, he is only capable of politically surveying certain economic aspects of the mass immigration disaster and not the whole of it. There should be no slack given to Ryan regarding his treasonous mass immigration motivations. Ryan is making a dash for the donor cash. Ryan is a nation-wrecking nihilist hell bent on inundating the ancestral core of the U.S. with tens of millions of foreigners.

The GOP is now cleaving between patriots determined to roll back the multicultural onslaught currently underway and billionaire-controlled politician prostitutes who want to extinguish the sovereignty of the U.S. under a flood tide of foreigners. Paul Ryan is most assuredly in the billionaire-controlled mass immigration boosterism crowd.

Paul Ryan and his open-borders ilk are the reason why "we don't have control of our borders." The unpatriotic plutocrats who own the Democrats and Republicans do not want U.S. borders controlled, nor do they want interior immigration law enforcement. Ryan's treasonite billionaire backers only want Ryan to go on television and distract the public from the anti-sovereignty agenda of the evil mass immigration pushing plutocrat globalizers.

Ryan is a politician prostitute capable of pilfering pension benefits from U.S. military personnel. Ryan would rather illegal alien invaders get U.S. federal government tax credits than make sure that U.S. military warriors justly receive what they were promised.

Ryan's claim that we "don't have control of our borders" is a distraction from an ongoing scheme hatched 40 years ago to destroy the U.S. as a sovereign, culturally cohesive nation-state. Finally, the U.S. public is awakening to the treasonous role politicians such as Paul Ryan have played in this deliberate attempt to cause U.S. national disintegration by means of mass immigration.

The Canadian House of Commons, for many years, has not “resisted these scum” any differently than Ryan and the U.S. Congress as well as the British Parliament. Harper, Canada’s previous PM, was and is a fanatical Christian Zionist. The NDP, Liberals, Green Party, and Conservatives are corrupt and criminal. All their members are Israel firsters. The B’nai B’rith Jewish Masonic entity are so fearless that they can easily silence tenured professors like Dr. Anthony Hall in Lethbridge. CTV, CBC, Global, and CityTV are completely compromised along with the print media. Canadian tax dollars are continuously flowing to Israel. That has been a longstanding fact. Many thanks to the Bronfman syndicate for their criminal enterprise that started in Hamilton and Windsor and is now global. Here is the ultimate rub. The B’nai B’rith in Canada takes the laundered money from Israel and bribes politicians with campaign funding in the interest of Israel and against the interest of the Canadian people. It’s the same all over the world. It’s no different with either AIPAC in the U.S., the Conservative and Labour Friends of Israel in the U.K. or the Jewish oligarchy (a.k.a. Red Mafiya) in Russia. Franco , I do not think Trump is an idiot , I think he is a realist man who knows that the the USA is overstretched , in a relative decline . I think Trump knows that the world is now multipolar and that the US/NATO should adapt to it , instead of pretending to be the " only superpower left in the world " .

Unfortunately many of the people of the US establishment , the " swamp " , as well as the european colonialists , like the english and french , still think that they are the " superior race " and that they have the divine right to run the world and wage war against any resistence that may arise to them , such as the muslims , russians, chinese , indians , latinoamericans etc...

The idiots are the US " swamp " and the anglo french colonialists .

Also the idea of prof Laslo Maracs, of UVA Amsterdam university, that Trump, and his rich friends, understand that continuing USA’s wars will bring them ruin and poverty.
I fully agree,, as one reads in

Democrats and Republican ruined the County. The deplorables defeated both parties when they elected Trump. Hence the elite rage against sixty some millions of voters.

Ryan is a Cock Brothers asset. May he enjoy his ill gotten gains.

Now, non-interventionist Trump has sent a flotilla to Syria where he demands that Assad's allies stand aside while he bombs with total impunity. Now he is a Republican and a Democrat. So fuck him.

I will continue (for what it's worth) to vote in the interest of the American working class on those rare occasions when such a vote is possible. But I know it's over for the Republic. Those pillars of Empire, Lincoln and Wilson, set us on the path of destruction.

It amazes me that the political establishment is able to ignore the fact that we elected Trump. Every swamp creature they threw up was defeated in the primary. It was an explicit rejection of both parties and business as usual, and yet the GOP have governed as if they had won.

Obama was also a change candidate, so we’ve tried both sides and neither is responsive. The system is beyond reform, yet revolution is highly unlikely to bring anything better. It seems that collapse is inevitable. Reform is difficult. Highly cohesive societies like China have managed to avoid collapse, but we don’t have that.

Ryan is the archetypical politician lining his pockets at our expense. I think the GOP missed the boat on acknowledging the corrosive effect of representing money instead of a nation. This worked hand in hand with the takeover of foreign policy. Everything we need was turned into a racket by Wall Street and kickbacks used to turn congress into an auction house of the American people.

As a weird aside, I emailed the White House a few days ago about not selling us out for more war and today I got an email beyond the usual acknowledgement. It was a long letter about national security and oddly, random letters were turned into Chinese characters.

Lincoln and Wilson indeed should be seen as a pair. Lincoln's vision was of a newly centralized USA - as opposed to these United States, which was the phrase nearly everyone used before Lincoln and the Republicans and their Civil War. That new centralized country could then have empire coast to coast, to rival the European empires. The railroad companies, for whom Lincoln worked throughout the 1850s, planned transcontinental rail service and intended to bring it to business ASAP. And to do that, they needed a very aggressive and powerful central government.

Wilson took that and added to it his fervent Anglophilia, which was based on his faith that the English Reformation was God's Plan to uplift the entire world and was perfected in British higher education and transferred by and managed by the British Empire. But Wilson also felt that the UK was decaying and that America's duty was to be the successor to the British Empire.

University professor Wilson was, in my opinion, a highly naïve man.
As was his advisor, ‘Colonel’ House.
That both just spoke english, maybe the main explanation of their behaviour that led to WWII.
Not the slightest idea about Germany.
German militarism, just the ability to organise.

Excellent article. The only thing that could save the GOP in November is if they pass a comprehensive America First immigration bill that ends DACA, sends packing all illegals, and drastically reduce legal immigration by ending unpopular work visa programs like H1b, OPT, H2b, refugee admission and green card issuance. Anything short will mean the end of the GOP majority in the house and maybe even the senate, because the Dems have got their hot button issue which is gun control and Trump impeachment that will draw out the voters.

Unfortunately the GOP is not likely to pass any bill at all on immigration as long as Ryan and McConnell, the two biggest swamp creatures and traitors, remain on the job. If Ryan gets the hell out now maybe the right Republican will step in and take care of business, like Jim Jordan or Kris Kobach.

Fire Mueller. Totally agree. That's his next move if he's got any gumption. It's best to assume that at least part of the impetus to raid Cohen's office was because of his declaration to get us out of Syria. Fake gas attack happened the same day too. Trump, weakened, relented on his pledge. Their game is pretty obvious. Does Trump have anyone on his side advising him of this? Doubt it. He's got traitors and back stabbers all around.

    -Flynn
    -Scott Pruitt

    ….

That’s the extent of the list I can compile. Pretty slim pickings. Trump’s chance to drain the swap was early on, and to fire every single person in every department. He faltered and the Deep State took advantage. Mike pence fucked him over and caused him to fire Flynn.

The only thing that can save the USA now is a full scale armed revolution. With the number of Mexicans pouring in and blacks being totally dependant on the gov. that is unlikely to happen.

"My Canada has strongly resisted these scum until Trudeau came into power."
The Canadian House of Commons, for many years, has not "resisted these scum" any differently than Ryan and the U.S. Congress as well as the British Parliament. Harper, Canada's previous PM, was and is a fanatical Christian Zionist. The NDP, Liberals, Green Party, and Conservatives are corrupt and criminal. All their members are Israel firsters. The B'nai B'rith Jewish Masonic entity are so fearless that they can easily silence tenured professors like Dr. The B'nai B'rith in Canada takes the laundered money from Israel and bribes politicians with campaign funding in the interest of Israel and against the interest of the Canadian people. It's the same all over the world. It's no different with either AIPAC in the U.S., the Conservative and Labour Friends of Israel in the U.K. or the Jewish oligarchy (a.k.a. Red Mafiya) in Russia. I won't mention the complete corruption of the E.U. because this reply is already too long.

That describes the GOP traitors who never actually opposed Obamacare. Anyone who really opposed the "affordable healthcare act" would obviously want to replace it with nothing. Swallowing the bogus idea that Obamacare simply MUST be replaced with another government control system for access to medical care through the insurance industry shows that he doesn't even understand the issue.

Colleges are “non-profit” and get numerous government-funded grants and guaranteed loan dollars–they can be told to charge whatever tuition we want. IP is artificial scarcity; we can junk most if not all of it. Both are “activist” reforms that would go a long way towards weakening toxic, anti-conservative institutions. “Free” trade is literally killing people, and you are going to pay for the consequences at the cash register or with welfare transfer payments–one of these is less dystopic and dysgenic.

"a workable national health care system, and the party that figures it out will be in power for the next two generations. "

Years ago the Zionist Jews created the central banking system, and basically control all the money, and with all the money comes all the power. Anyone for sale, has been purchased, and those few brave men who stood up against the evil, were killed, while America stood by and watched.

It would take a practiced eye and familiarity with a lot of American characters to have seen how badly he was ruining his own chances at being able to accomplish anything during his "team assembly" phase. You can be excused for not seeing it, since you have your own government to try to keep an eye on, but plenty of Americans didn't see him doing anything stupid until now.

During the appointment process, his fans were shouting down anyone who would say something like, "WTF is he appointing Sessions to anything for?" or "Oh, shit! Say it ain't so" about any of the other assholes he appointed. A few retards on ZH kept saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" every time Trump would appoint somebody who was sure to stab him in the back.

That's pure idiocy. You don't keep an enemy close by giving him the keys to your office.

Any person who runs for POTUS, executes a series of idiotic deeds.

    Yes, Trump is an idiot.

No, I don’t think that he’s an idiot – he’s not a stupid man, he underestimated the power and lunacy of the deep state. He needed 50 of him in order to tackle Washington.

There’s definitely been some positives to his term, but he’s in trouble now especially with the Republicans throwing the midterms.

Globalist Republicans will stop at nothing in their quest to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

    Always know your enemy.
America's problems will not be solved through elections.

The Deep State will not be denied.

  • I see just two solutions for the USA problems:
    - a full scale revolution
    - direct vote of the Senate, so that real political parties can be established.
The House, based on the district system, can remain, but just for internal political decisions.
Maybe a full scale revolution is necessary to implement Senate voting by popular vote.
How dictatorial systems hate equal representation we now see in Brussels, political parties who get less that two % of the votes will get no seats.

Lincoln and Wilson indeed should be seen as a pair. Lincoln’s vision was of a newly centralized USA – as opposed to these United States, which was the phrase nearly everyone used before Lincoln and the Republicans and their Civil War. That new centralized country could then have empire coast to coast, to rival the European empires. The railroad companies, for whom Lincoln worked throughout the 1850s, planned transcontinental rail service and intended to bring it to business ASAP. And to do that, they needed a very aggressive and powerful central government.

Wilson took that and added to it his fervent Anglophilia, which was based on his faith that the English Reformation was God’s Plan to uplift the entire world and was perfected in British higher education and transferred by and managed by the British Empire. But Wilson also felt that the UK was decaying and that America’s duty was to be the successor to the British Empire.
