Vincent Selva
Ramesh, Saloni, Avinash
Shiva(Jithen Ramesh) is a rich kid whose father Viswanathan(Avinash) is a tycoon who has no time for his son, after his wife passed away. He does not get love at home so he leads a reckless life in college in the company of useless students (Ganja Karup and others). In college he meets Priya(Salomi), daughter of a poor milkman and a moneylender Mayaandi (Lal), who has a she-devil of a sister Andal( Telengana Sakunthala), who beats up people for not paying back interests on loans taken!
Priya is exact opposite her father and aunt, and is loving and caring and soon the inevitable happens as she falls in love with Shiva and reforms him! There is fierce parental opposition from both sides, social and class differences, however as expected in the last reel the lovers unite.
It is a crass film that drags with plenty of double entendre and inane songs tuned by Sreekanth Deva. Will director Vincent Selva tell us why he shot the film in Hyderabad and passed it off as Madurai? Also do milkmen daughters living along with cows and goats wear designer clothes? There is also too much blood and gore in the long drawn out climax.
The only silver lining is Jeeva dubbing for his brother Ramesh, otherwise it is a waste of time.
Verdict: Avoidable
