Nika Roza Danilova, aka Zola Jesus, has announced a followup to her last full-length, 2011's very good Conatus. Watch a dramatic teaser clip, directed by Kyle Hurley, below. It's called Taiga, out in October. If the 50 seconds of music here are any indication, she's heading towards even heavier, beat-driven territory.
Since Conatus, Sacred Bones also released a collection of orchestral takes on her songs, last year's Versions.
