To install Tanktastic manually, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
If you do not have a file manager installed on your device, you should install one. I recommend you to use File Manager, as it is very user-friendly and straightforward. If you want a more advanced file manager, I recommend ES File Explorer, as it has plenty of features and the read and write speed is very high.

Step 2:
Download the APK-file from here. When the download has finished, find the file by using a file manager. Downloads are usually located in Storage - Emulated - 0 - "Download". Tap on the file when you have found it.

Step 3:
For security reasons, by default, your device is set to block installation of applications from sources other than Google Play. In order to install the APK-file, click on "SETTINGS". Enable "Unknown sources" to allow installation of applications from unknown sources. To confirm your action, click "OK".

Step 4:
Now go back to the folder where the downloaded APK-file is located, tap on it and click "INSTALL".

To get the manually installed game to work, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
You have now manually installed Tanktastic. However, without the game’s OBB-data, you will not be able to play the game. Download the OBB-data from here.

Step 2:
When the download has finished, find the file by using a file manager. Downloads are usually located in Storage - Emulated - 0 - "Download". Tap on the file’s icon or tap and hold on the file’s name and select the copy icon located in the top-right toolbar.

Step 3:
Go to the internal memory and continue to “Android” and “OBB".

Step 4:
Tap on the plus icon at the bottom-right to create a new folder. Name it "ghor.games.tanktastic". Copy the file to the folder you just created by selecting the paste button located in the top-right toolbar. When the copy process is finished, you can start the game and play as normal.

To keep the OBB-data after an uninstallation, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
If you are going to uninstall the application but do not wish to download the OBB-data during the next installation, there is a solution. To understand this better, load the application’s information. As you can see, the total storage capacity the application uses is 259 MB. As your device loaded the information, it searched for any OBB-data linked to the application, found it and calculated the OBB-data’s size along with the application’s size.

Step 2:
To prevent the system from finding the OBB-data and deleting it when you uninstall the application, go to Storage - Emulated - 0 - Android - OBB using a file manager. Tap on the folder’s icon or tap and hold on the folder’s name and select the rename icon located in the top-right toolbar. Change the name from "ghor.games.tanktastic" to "ghor.games.tanktastic0". It does not matter what you change the name to unless you remember which application the OBB-data is linked to.

Step 3:

When you load the application’s information again, it searches for any OBB-data linked to the application but does not find anything, so it only calculates the application’s size, which is 40.43 MB. Now you can safely uninstall the application without worrying about losing your OBB-data and that you must download it again during the next installation.

Make sure to rename the folder back to "ghor.games.tanktastic" before you install the game again at a later time. If you forget to do this, a new folder will be created and the OBB-data downloaded into it if you download the game from Google Play. On the other hand, if you install the game manually and forget to rename the folder, the application will crash when it reaches the splash screen. If this happens, just go ahead and rename the folder.
