Atlanta - Shellman's Thomas Davis will not be a training camp holdout.
The former Georgia All-American on Friday signed a five year contract with the Carolina Panthers.
Davis' agent Todd France says the contract is worth more than $13.2 million with eight million guaranteed.
The contract for Thomas Davis is 14% higher than last year's 14th overall pick in the first round defensive tackle Tommie Harris received from the Chicago Bears.
The Carolina Panthers open training camp Saturday at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
