The invoices are extremely confusing and when we go to pay it is for items we purchased a few months prior which normally isn't bad, but can be when we get to the end of the fiscal year. Also the first page tends to list more items then what the total payment due box says which is confusing. Only list on that page what has to be paid for. Lastly, for our account purposes we need the itemized invoice for what is being paid for in the current invoice. Currently I have to find the previous months invoice to get the itemized list so I can pay the current month's invoice. So in other words, the amount that is due should also have the itemized invoice in the following pages in addition to the other active charges. I can't pay for an item if I can't code it in our budget and I shouldn't have to flip between different invoices from different months to figure it out. Keep it simple. These are the only invoices I have ever seen created in such a convoluted way. Every other invoice I handle is clear about what is being paid for accept this one.

While the credit line is a convenience, the invoicing as it is handled by the third-party servicing provider is cumbersome to use. Product descriptions are truncated on the purchase detail provided. This makes it necessary for me to frequently take the extra step to research our purchases on our account in order to be able to code them. There is no total provided on the statement, again adding an extra step so I can be sure I am paying the correct amount. Since I opened the revolving credit line knowing it needed to be paid in full each month, I don't understand the point of checking off the boxes next to each purchase in order to be sure they are credited to the account. I feel with the sophisticated and impressive technology typically employed by Amazon, this style of invoicing is....inconsistent.

Don't waste your time filling out the form!

Even though both my SS and DOB are correctly entered I kept getting the same below as encountered by other reviewers.

Error message:
"Your response to following fields is invalid
Date of Birth can not be less than 8 characters.
Social Security Number can not be less than 9 characters."

The Site does not Work

The site does not work I too am having problems all fields are correct. It comes back and says that SS need to be 9 numbers. Then it says that the Birthdate has to be at least 8 numbers. It does not show any errors but never able to complete the application online.

An absolute must for businesses, churches, etc. I pastor a small church which has a relatively low maximum on our business credit card. Amazon's corporate credit line gave me a very generous maximum credit line, allowed us to be sales tax exempt because we are a non-profit, and it is so simple to make a purchase. We can either use a P.O. Number or just our line of credit. A nicely detailed statement comes in the mail and I verify and approve it and turn it over to our treasurer/accountant for payment. I love it! Easiest way to purchase what we need, receive it with Amazon's always speedy shipment, and settle up when the statement comes in. If you have a church or business and don't have this you are missing out.

Would Give it 5 Stars, but....

Wish there was a mechanism to have items categorized, such as book, video, video game, office supply, etc. Even if I could input that information when I ordered, it would help with my budget. As it is, I need to go through every invoice (lots) and try to determine which it is and then, if I can't remember, I need to look it up. It is essential to have this broken down for line items within our budget.

love the convenience, BUT not the billing cycle

I like the convenience of ordering things and paying in full. I do not like the way it is set up however. There is an order number when you order but on the credit card statement there is an invoice number and nothing to tie the two together except the amount and listed items. This makes it hard to reconcile the orders with the bill. It takes too much time to figure out. The billing seems to be lag behind quite a bit. We only pay bills once a month so it makes it difficult to make sure all invoices are paid. The statement doesn't reach us until after the deadline for our monthly bills.

It's the easiest way to to have a business account associated with your personal account. This way you can pick and choose which account you want your purchase charged to. Only annoying thing is that the "Corporate" option will not show up as a payment option unless you choose the business address for delivery. I understand that's a security feature to protect against fraud but in our situation it's unnecessary and an annoyance. Other than that, no complaints.
