I love my Morphe m439 brushes - it's basically all I use for my foundations - I wouldn't mind trying other stippling brushes I just see no need to purchase others I have three of these and another little different but same concept - same company brushes I only procured the other one through Hautelook so it's a tad different -- but I love it may be a little more because of the way it applies foundation - it is my favorite - but I really have no need for anything else. I use them, rotate them, clean them and they are my tools. The just work beautifully - the only thing else I use are my blending sponges for baking my concealer and for final air- brushing out fine lines on my forehead and around my nose and such -- these are the tools I used everytime I apply any foundation - I may invest in something different later on in my life but as for now I'm perfectly content with these four Morphe brushes. There is one thing that does have to bar on how I feel about them, there can be a slight variation in how the head ends up being on the actual brush hairs - one of the brush tips that I have is a bit (quite a bit actually) -for lack of a possibly stronger descriptive articulated dang word longer and with more of a pounce to it - and not in a helpful of pleasant way - for applying foundation - I apologize for my fumbling attempt to be descriptive I am having a brain moment - I like to call them (I won't say what I really call them you can use your imagination here most definatly he he) but a FOG if you will - it's really kind of squishy to the stippling that I do upon first application - I then blend it out you know what I'm meaning here to make everything smooth and seamless - it feels a kin to too much legnth on the brush with the actual hairs that extend from the ferral of the brush - too generous with the amount of what comes out of the ferrle of the end -- it's too long and pounces too much for a precise application. So there can be a bit of a change in some of them but I would just contact Amazon if you have a problem. they're great - other than that I'd go for it they're great tools. I highly recommend them for a really reasonable high-quality brush for foundation or any of their brush choices - or any of their products actually-- read the reviews it's what I do -- you will find out everything you need to know don't read two read like 20 or 25 and spread them out - really do a good sampling of them cause some of them are free promotions and I don't trust them. If all else you still aren't certain go to a ULTA -- you can't go wrong that way - you can return it easy !! Most of those girls will give you the real skinny if you get an older assistant, not a young girl she's about commission not telling you the real real okay-- sorry I do tend to go on. hope something helped you!! good luck with them, if you want to know anything else don't hesitate to ask.

I've purchased a lot of foundation brushes, but this brush is the best by far. It gives my foundation an air-brushed finish. The brush has a large head, which means I get more coverage quickly and has cut down on the time spent applying foundation. It's no wonder Morphe make up brushes are beloved by so many Youtubers - and its only $16.00! Definitely worth every penny.

Great brush, but falls apart after 6 months

So this is my favorite brush to put on liquid foundation with because it kind of buffs it as you apply the make up and it produces great coverage. The one thing I don’t like is that I’ve only had this brush for six months and it’s already falling apart (see photo... The bristles and up all over my face every day). But I guess for $14, what can I really expect? I’m buying a replacement, but just wanted to let everyone know.

Disappointing Performance

So, I finally broke down and bought a Morphe brush. I have watched multiple Youtubers go on and on about these brushes for a while now but avoided buying one because all said Youtubers had affiliate links that lead me to not trust the opinion. I wanted to try a new foundation brush and thought what the heck since so many "Gurus" hook up with them maybe they are that great. This brush came quickly and though it is soft mine sheds like a mangy dog. This hinders application which I have to say is not that impressive. The shedding was so bad I had to pause several times to remove hair and ended up reaching for one of my old brushes to finish up. I tried using it 3 seperate times and never finished application with it. I have several of the Lamora flat top Kabuki brushes which are much better than this. Maybe mine was just a fluke but I can definitely say it left me with a less than burning need to try further Morphe brushes. My suggestion would be try the Lamora (also sold on Amazon) if you want a good foundation brush because I feel like this brand is mostly hype.

I found this after watching Nikkie Tutorials on youtube. I never liked the idea of using a brush to apply foundation, but wasn't entirely happy with my beauty blender. I reluctantly bought this and I'm so glad I did. The beauty blender has now been collecting dust and I have no intention of ever using another way to apply my foundation! It covers better, and the foundation looks very well blended and more natural, and I'm using way less foundation and saving a lot of money that way as I need a more high end foundtion to cover melasma. I also use the brush softly to help blend in a full coverage concealer after I stipple it on to cover the hyperpigmentation spots on my face. I have bought other brushes and didn't like them-this is now my ultimate and I'll keep buying it!

The brush itself is beautiful - it's so soft and the size is perfect for applying blush or bronzer. I keep all my brushes organized in a brush case, each one with its own slot - in other words I'm very careful with my brushes. HOWEVER, after a couple months after use, the whole silver part came apart from the wooden handle. I suppose I can glue it back on, but for $23 I shouldn't have to. Very disappointed, and it's too late to return.
