Permanent Impairment Payments
Manitoba Public Insurance recognizes the serious and lasting impact that catastrophic injuries have on people.
Example
Jessica was in a serious car accident, and as a result is a quadriplegic. Her type of quadriplegia is set at 100 per cent and is considered a catastrophic injury, so she will receive a permanent impairment payment.
