Patrick Mahomes is landing endorsement deals left and right. First it was revealed that he’d be releasing a brand of cereal dubbed Patty Flakes. Now, after several manufacturers vying for his affection, Mahomes has become the face of Hunt’s ketchup.

His first commercial with Hunt’s is already on the internet. In the ad, Mahomes unveils his super-secret workout routine, which is squeezing a bottle of Hunt’s onto a plate of mac and cheese.

It might make you a bit queasy, but this is Mahomes’ main squeeze when it comes to ketchup consumption.

Ketchup mania all started when ESPN’s Seth Wickersham got Mahomes’ mom to spill the beans on his love for ketchup.

Steak wasn’t the only thing that Mahomes claims to put ketchup on, though. In a press conference after Wickersham’s piece was published, Mahomes revealed that he puts ketchup on his mac and cheese.

So here we are, folks. Mahomes is normalizing his love for ketchup on mac and cheese. He’s turned something that might make people go “ew” into a big-time moneymaker. Plenty of folks will be passing the ketchup thanks to the Chiefs QB.
