Ekta Kapoor's newest show Kavach 2 will soon be releasing on the digital platform and the makers of the show released the first promo of the supernatural series today. The first season of Kavach had seen Mona Singh in the lead role. This time around, it is actress Deepika Singh, who was on a maternity break since May 2017, and had made her mark in the TV industry as Sandhya in Diya Aur Baati Hum.
The show's promo has all the feels of a supernatural drama and sees Deepika in a new light. It introduces her as Sandhya, a girl who goes to the Shiv temple to pray for her future husband on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Dramatic music and effects follow and as per the promo any girl who wishes to get married soon can see the face of her future husband if she fasts on Mahashivratri.
In the short promo video, we also get a glimpse of the male leads of the show Namik Paul and Vin Rana, who will be playing pivotal roles in the show. The promo sure is interesting but faces some stiff competition from other supernatural shows like Naagin. Check out the promo below:
