Bug Description

Ticket #1735799 made it so that generating a ToC from an XPath ignored duplicate values. I have run into multiple books that have no ToC but have the same tag marking the start of a chapter. Can you make the ignore duplicate values that was fixed in 1735799 is an optional flag that can be set somewhere?

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
