The Empire has suffered painful defeats in Afghanistan and Iraq, but one has to admit that these are “tough” countries to crack. The Empire also appears to have lost control of Libya, but that is another complex country which is very hard to control. We also saw all the pathetic huffing and puffing with the DPRK. But, let’s be honest, the US never stood a chance to bully the DPRK into submission, nevermind invading or regime-changing it. Syria was much weaker, but here Russia, Iran and Hezbollah did a world class job of repelling all the AngloZionist attacks, political and military. Besides, I for one will never blame Trump for not listening to Bolton and not triggering WWIII over Syria (yet?)

But Venezuela?!

No Hezbollah or Iran backing Maduro there. And Venezuela is way too far away from Russia to allow her to do what she did in Syria. In fact, Venezuela is in the proverbial “backyard” of the US and is surrounded by hostile puppet regimes. And yet, tonight, it appears that the US puppet Guaidó has failed in his coup attempt.

Moon of Alabama did a great job covering the events of the day, so I will refer you to the excellent article “Venezuela – Random Guyaidó’s New Coup Attempt Turns Out to Be A Dangerous Joke“. I fully concur that today’s coup was both a joke and very dangerous.

Russian readers can also check out this article by Vzgliad which also gives a lot of interesting details, including the fact that Guaidó launched his coup from the Colombian Embassy in Caracas (see here for a machine translation).

But the thing which amazes me most tonight is the truly breathtakingly pathetic weakness of the clowns who launched this latest failed operation: Pompeo and Mr MAGA. Check them out:

Let’s begin with Pompeo.

According to him, the coup failed because of Russia (what else is new?)! Not only that, but Maduro had already decided to run to Cuba, but then the Russians stopped him.

Really?

So are we to believe that the coup was a stunning success, yet another feather to the CIA’s “hat” of failed successful covert operations? Apparently so.

After all, why would Maduro want to run unless he realized that the situation was hopeless?

But then “Russia” called him and told him to stay put. The conversation must gone something like this:

Putin: Mr Maduro – you don’t need to worry about a thing. Just do what we tell you and stay put.
Maduro: but my people hate me! They all turned against me! The military is behind the coup!
Putin: no, no, it’s all under control, just stay put.
Maduro: but the mob will lynch me if I stay!!!!
Putin: no worries, nobody will touch you.

Does that dialog look credible to you? I sure hope not! I think that anybody with a modicum of intelligence ought to realize that Maduro’s decision to stay in place could only have been based on one of two possible considerations:

  1. The coup has failed and Maduro is safe or
  2. The coup is successful and Maduro will stay and fight till his last breath (like Allende did)

But tonight Maduro is safe in Caracas and the coup plotters are on the run.

The truth is that only a loser and imbecile like Pompeo could come up with such a lame excuse in a desperate attempt to “cover his ass” and blame his failure on the Neocon’s favorite scapegoat: Russia.

Now let’s check what his boss had to say:

Trump does not blame Russia. Instead, he blames Cuba!

I don’t know what kind of silly scenarios Mr MAGA ran in his head to come up with “the Cubans did it” but that is even more ridiculous than “the Russians did it”. Reading this “tweets” (how appropriate for this bird-brain!) one could get the impression that the Cubans launched a full-scale military attack (involving both the Cuban military and “militias”) and that they orchestrated a brutal crack-down on the Venezuelan people.

In the real world, however, Cuba did nothing of the sort.

But, really, who cares?!

In the Empire of Illusions fact don’t matter. At least to the leaders of the AngloZionist Empire who continue to believe that only spin matters.

In the case of Venezuela, spin alone failed.

So what’s next?

According to the typical scenario revealed to us by John Perkins, the next step should be a full-scale US invasion. And yes, he is right, that would be what the Empire would have done in its heyday. But nowadays?

Check out this interesting news snippet: Eric Prince wants Blackwater to send 5,000 mercenaries to Venezuela (does anybody know why and how these clowns came up with the 5,000 figure? First Bolton, now Prince. Do they really think that this is enough?!).

The point is not whether Prince will ever get to send mercenaries to Venezuela or whether the Trump administration is inclined to accept this offer. The point is that Prince would have never made this offer in the first place if the US military was up to the task. It is not, and Prince knows that very well.

The military stands by the Constitutional government of Venezuela
The military stands by the Constitutional government of Venezuela

As for Maduro, he seems to have the support not only of a majority of his people, but of the Venezuelan armed forces. As for the armed forces, they are clearly enjoying the support of the people.

This is a very bad combination for the Empire. Here is why:

Yes, Venezuela has immense problems. And yes, both Chavez and Maduro have made mistakes. But this is not about Chavez or Maduro, this is about the rule of law inside and outside Venezuela. This is about the people of Venezuela, even the suffering ones, not willing to renounce the sovereignty of their country. Yes, Chavez did not solve all of Venezuela’s problems, but to deliver the country to the Empire would mean crushing any hope of true, real, people power. The Venezuelan people apparently have no illusions about their Yankee neighbors and they don’t want the Empire-style “democracy” to turn Venezuela into the next Libya.

ORDER IT NOW

I should never say never, and God only knows what tomorrow (May 1st) will bring (Guaido has called for a mass protests) but my gut feeling is that the Empire “injected” itself into Venezuela just enough to trigger an immune reaction, like a vaccine, but not enough to infect Venezuela with a toxin powerful enough to kill it.

In the meantime, US aircraft carriers are in the Mediterranean trying to scare Russia, Syria and Iran all at the same time. I can just imagine the disgusted contempt with which this latest sabre-rattling with outdated hardware is received in Moscow, Damascus or Tehran. Even Hezbollah remains utterly unimpressed.

The truth is that the only people who have not come to the realization that the Empire is broken and defeated are the rulers of the Neocon deep state and those who still watch the legacy Ziomedia.

By now everybody else has realized who utterly impotent the Empire has become.

Conclusion:

The Empire only appears to be strong. In reality it is weak, confused, clueless and, most importantly, run by a sad gang of incompetent thugs who think that they can scare everybody into submission in spite of not having won a single significant war since 1945. The inability to break the will of the people of Venezuela is only the latest symptom of this mind-boggling weakness.

I will leave the last word to this charming lady who really said it all:

  1. To repeat the mantra of US as the world’s leading harbinger of regime change, mass murder and war crimes would be to belabor the point.

The question that goes begging is where are the people, of whom, for whom and by whom the government is supposed to be? Where are the voices of reason and sanity? When will the enforced silence in the face of the frank colonization and stranglehold of our country by the Anglozionists be broken once and for all, the feeble but courageous proclamations of Ilhan Omar notwithstanding? Also let us ask ourselves this: if African Americans (12% of the US population) or Latin Americans (18% of the population, 30% combined total) were to have a similar stranglehold on our foreign policy, would we simply fold our hands and say or do nothing as we are doing with the AngloZionist takeover of our country? Is there any other group of people anywhere else that has been rendered as impotent — stripped of their balls, moral eunuchs really — accepting widespread abuses of their rights, their humanity and self-determination by Israel Firsters in such bizarre and total silence? Wake up America!

Even the Daily Mail’s readership is starting to have doubts about the press feed “Maduro’s plane waiting on the tarmac – talked out of it by Putin story” repeated word for word.

If half the Daily Mail’s readers see this as BS – and see Guaido as a US Regime Change guy, then the Empire really is in trouble.

And as for a US invasion of Venezuela, it’s not going to happen since it would mess up the all important planned attack on Iran.

Just add the lying Ziomedia and they will continue this nonsense to a dimwitted American public who are too busy playing with their phones. The American Empire has been done for a long time. They have been raped monetarily, socially, and politically by their wonderful ally Israel.

I don’t know if it is that ‘amazing’. I supported the Donald, as I intuit you might also have done, based on what he said. Apart from their history (which did not bode well honestly in his case either) what else has one got to go on when judginf politicians? I personally always attached a caveat to my support. Namely: If Trump goes bad and turns out to be just another opportunist then his extremism and other “special qualities” will make him the perfect human wrecking ball to bring down all around him anyway. It looks like the default secnario has arisen, but to be honest it was always assumed. His daughter was already sold to the Pharisees whgen he first ran.

Why is the whole establishment in America and in the whole West so anti-Trump. He has broken all their plans for world domination and creation of the one world government. He broke TAP and TPP, he has not signed the Paris climate accord, he is against free trade and the WTO, he is against all UN institutions, he is the first american president ever who rebeled against the Federal Reserve, he ist the frst who is really fighting the mas immigration, he is deregulating the american job market, he is resisting a coup of the deep state, he is apointing the new judges who ar pro constitution, he is actually desolving the Obamacare and so much more. But he is not the king he has not the loyal Republican party yet which he is not chosen and he must make the deals to go any further and in that sense he still needs the help of Neocons in some degree. It would be much easier when american pople would be a lot more politicaly active and halped him in the way por example to put the presure on the Rpublican party operatives on the local and national level, or to be much more active in expousing the woter fraud and so on. American simply expect that the vote alone can do the job. But the system is so broken that the real revolution is needed. Otherwise the country would go broke and be dessolved. American must also put the pressure on the secret owners of everything of importance especially banks and media whose ownership is seecret, and this secrecy must be remuved because on the ownership level the most crime occur.

That’s simple for anyone with an inkling of how Washington works. The first axiom is that it is just a huge market – everything is for sale, usually to the highest bidder.

So my guess is that Prince estimated that the budget he could get would be just about enough to fund 5,000 mercenaries. Of course he wouldn’t be going himself, as they might all be killed by the angry Venezuelans. But he would still have the money in his bank. Indeed, he might make out “like a bandit” if all the mercenaries got killed, so he wouldn’t have to pay them.

It’s simple enough to understand. In his book “How the World Works”, Noam Chomsky explained.

“One document to look at if you want to understand your country is Policy Planning Study 23, written by Kennan for the State Department planning staff in 1948. Here’s some of what it says.

“‘We have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population… In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity… To do so, we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and daydreaming; and our attention will have to be concentrated everywhere on our immediate national objectives… We should cease to talk about vague and… unreal objectives such as human rights, the raising of the living standards and democratization. The day is not far off when we are going to have to deal in straight power concepts. The less we are then hampered by idealistic slogans, the better’”.

In the same book, Chomsky writes,

‘Along the same lines, in a briefing for US ambassadors to Latin American countries in 1950, Kennan observed that a major concern of US foreign policy must be “the protection of our [i.e. Latin America’s] raw materials”. We must therefore combat a dangerous heresy which, US intelligence reported, was spreading through Latin America: “the idea that the government has direct responsibility for the welfare of the people”.

‘US planners call that idea Communism, whatever the actual political views of the people advocating it. They can be church-based self-help groups or whatever, but if they support this heresy, they’re Communists’.

This also completely explains why there is so little resistance among US citizens to their government’s systematic, deliberate, massive, unforgivable crimes against humanity. Namely they (US citizens) believe that they gain materially by those crimes. (Most of them may be wrong about that, but that’s not important right now).

    Consider Kennan’s first sentence:

“We have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population…”

Today the US population, while rapidly increasing, is less than 4% of world population. Yet resource consumption is still far, far greater than for any other country.

To learn more try searching online for (e.g.) “us population resource consumption percent global”. Here are two of the first hits that query will bring up:

    https://public.wsu.edu/~mreed/380American%20Consumption.htm

  52. Venezuela is a sea of tricky cross currents though which the Saker has not done a good job navigating. He imposes a narrative on events that is too simple.
Start with a difficult topic: the legitimacy of Nicolas Maduro. A timeline is helpful:
    2012: Hugo Chavez dies.
2013: Elections are held for the office of President. Maduro wins with 50.61% of the vote, beating Enrique Capriles who comes in at 49.1%.
April 2015: Elections are held to select deputies to Venezuela’s legislative body, the National Assembly. In these elections a coalition of opposition parties, the MUD (Mesa de Unidad Democrcatica), wins 56.3 % of the vote and 112 of 167 seats, the first electoral defeat of the Chavistas (the “Bolivarian Revolution”) in 16 years.
May 2015: In a lame duck session of the National Assembly, the Chavistas – at that moment still in the majority –- pass a law that removes all sitting members of Venezuela’s supreme court (called the TSJ, Tribunal Supremo de Justicia), and puts in place a new set of judges, every one of whom is a Maduro partisan. The TSJ soon becomes a polit-bureau ratifying Maduro’s decrees and nullifying every measure of the National Assembly.

May 2018: A presidential election is established by decree, without the authority of the National Assembly as stipulated in the Constitution of 1999. Every aspect of this election is irregular, false, manipulated or controlled, including a significant detail: no opposition candidates are allowed to run, including Leopoldo Lopez (in jail or under house arrest) and Enrique Capriles (banned from participation in politics).

The Saker says: “…yes, both Chavez and Maduro have made mistakes. But this is not about Chavez or Maduro, this is about the rule of law inside and outside Venezuela.”
The Saker is just saying words here. The absence of the rule of law is precisely the problem.

The Saker dismisses Maduro’s opponents as “puppets” of the Empire. Leopoldo Lopez is a puppet? He chose to remain in Venezuela and share the difficulties of life there, a decision not coming cheap. Until yesterday he was in jail or under house arrest. Before being sent to jail, a car he was riding in was riddled with bullets. In March of 2006, a bodyguard of his was shot and killed. One might not agree with Lopez, but he is a man of conviction and courage.

Or consider Juan Guaido: he did NOT select himself. He was chosen by the National Assembly (based on authority granted to it by the Constitution of 1999). In the fractured political landscape of Venezuela the National Assembly is now the only body to have received its mandate via an election in which real alternatives existed and honest vote counting occurred. The selection of Guaido represents an attempt to start from a point as legally valid as possible, and from there by peaceful means guide Venezuelan political life back to legality. What is at issue is the rule of law.

The Saker lets abhorrence of the Neocon regime in Washington distort his judgment. Yes, the Neocons are brutal, stupid and dangerous, but their assessment of the Maduro regime in Caracas is accurate. Sorry if this assertion is found to be offensive. Chavez, Maduro, Cabello and their gang narco-traficantes have not “made mistakes,” they have destroyed a country.

(Is it necessary to argue this point? Hundreds of thousands of people do not walk – WALK – out of a country unless desperate. The currency is deep into hyper-inflation, meaning, there is no currency. PDVSA — before the Bolivarian Revolution a well-run state-owned operation producing 3 to 3.5 million barrels of oil per day — now produces under one million barrels a day. The grid is in a state of collapse. These and many more disasters were NOT visited upon the Venezuelan people by the gringos or by anybody else: they were visited upon the Venezuelan people by a corrupt, incompetent government operating behind the facade of a phony revolution.)

The Maduro regime in Caracas and the Neocon regime in Washington are equally repellent, and in fact similar. Both are mafia type organizations. Why grant legitimacy to the little mafia in Caracas. All this does is allow the big mafia in Washington to parade around as champions of “rights,” “democracy” and “freedom,” which words, when said by the Neocons, induce nausea.

Among the people in the Venezuelan drama the most attractive are the opposition leaders on the ground: Leopoldo Lopez, Enrique Capriles, Maria Corina Machado, and many others, including Juan Guaido. They have been jailed, banned, threatened, shot at, roughed up and harassed, yet they stay at home and in the game. Their flaws are balanced by a great virtue: courage. I don’t think that any of them would make a good puppet.

One last point: pay attention to Ivan Duque, the current president of Colombia. He is an intelligent, thoughtful, close to the situation and has a big stake in what happens. (A million refugees from Venezuela are in his country.) If there is a good outcome to this drama, he will probably be part of it.

The inability to break the will of the people of Venezuela is only the latest symptom of this mind-boggling weakness.}

    A fairly accurate assessment.

However, The Empire still has immense capacity to cause death and destruction all over the world. It may not have enough warrior-troops to send boots to Venezuela (thank God), but it has a LOT of hardware to cause mass deaths remotely and from above without setting foot on somebody’s land.

And the weaker and more impotent The Empire becomes as time goes by, the more irrational and dangerous it will become, consumed with rage at the realization of its inability to longer being able to run/control the globe.

Hopefully there will be some cooler heads where it counts in US civilian&military leadership, before the irrational rage spills over and we all get nuked – by accident or by design.

    1. Even if Maduro were “massacring his own people” that would be absolutely no concern of the USA.

    2. Even if it did concern the USA, the UN Charter absolutely forbids the USA to interfere in the internal or external affairs of Venezuela. Under any circumstances whatsoever – unless ordered to do so by the UN Security Council (won’t happen) or if Venezuela wages war against the USA (certainly won’t happen).

    3. Maduro has not been “massacring his own people”.

  61. Empire is an illusion, because it is built on the need for power, and power is ephemeral. It has been present in every conflict of the past. It is the underlying motivation for war. Other cultural factors might change, but not power. As a result every civilization/nation eventually gets the war it is trying to avoid: utter defeat. But emperors and their advisers delude themselves, thinking they can avoid that fateful war, that it can be limited in scale or even won. History always proves them wrong.

    Hey Justsaying,

It is becoming very hard for me to stomach the impotence of the American male. The only thing that I can come up with is, there is serious mental health, spiritual and moral issues in the country.

Mental Health: I keep reading about multiple shootings at schools, at work and religious institutions. The people committing those crimes have a weird look about them. Their eyes are empty, dark and their booking pictures capture them with same expression as the other shooters. It’s like they were all programed by the same method of control.

Spiritual: The Christian Right have become a major problem for the US. They have too much money and power. They push political agendas and foreign policy towards Israel and the Zionist. They worship the Zionist Jews more than they do Jesus. These people have been supporting the ChristianZionistBritishIsrael agenda for a long time, but now they are more powerful. Going to war is like going to the beach for these people, they have lost all sense of being Christian.

Morality: Pornography, Pedophilia, Money Laundering, Financial Fraud, Abuse of Power, and other crimes have been linked to the sitting US President. How can the rest of the world look at the US any different than it does, with leaders like Trump, Bolton, Pompeo, etc. These people support Saudi Arabia, Israel, Colombia, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, etc. Human Trafficking, Opioid Trafficking, Organ Harvesting, Murder and other crimes have been linked to these fine group of US Allies.

The people of the US blame immigrants, minorities and Muslims for their deteriorating social order, but what they don’t see is the greatest threat to the “White Race” is and has always been the other “White Race”. The Anglo Saxon British and American “White People” and their traitorous pact with the Zionist Jewish Bankers. They destroyed the Germans twice and will be the downfall of the US if not put in check! It will take the other “White People” in the US, (Polish, German, Russian, Irish, Italian, French, etc.) to rise up against these criminals. Otherwise if Mexicans, Blacks and other minorities rise up against these people it will become a race war. And that my friend is something that they would welcome!

The Americans believe whatever their government does it is necessary with good intention like planting democracy, right to protect, upholding human rights and maintaining their established law and order around the world.

The Americans hold such lofty believe because they are made up by the immigrants believing in the Empire around the world, they want the Empire to do what they believe, they provide money, manufacture hardware and they man the death machines to extend the Empire’s will on their behave around the world.

Americans adore their military and security agencies. Excusing the people of the Empire by blaming a small group of people in the government is simply ignoring the root the problem.

I agree with you 100%…The US treated Latin America like a red headed step child! The 50’s, 60’s and 70’s were terrible years for the people in L.A. El Salvador death squads, Chili’s Pinochet, Panama Invasion, Nicaragua, etc. All pushed to the left by US Foreign Policy in favor of US Corporate interests in the region, the same way Venezuela was pushed to the left.

I strongly feel Israel has played a major role in US policy in Latin America. Bibi visits those countries as soon as they show support for US interests. Privatizing their natural resources soon becomes the next order of business.

Pompeo’s new advisor Kiron Skinner from Carnegie Mellon is now claiming “Clash of Civilizations” with China:
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/defense-national-security/state-department-preparing-for-clash-of-civilizations-with-china

“This is a fight with a really different civilization and a different ideology and the United States hasn’t had that before,” Kiron Skinner, the director of policy planning at the State Department, said Monday evening at a security forum in Washington, D.C.

“The Soviet Union and that competition, in a way it was a fight within the Western family,” Skinner said, noting Karl Marx’s indebtedness to Western political ideas. “It’s the first time that we will have a great power competitor that is not Caucasian.”

Meanwhile, Kiron Skinner is a black woman.

If Samuel Huntington were alive today, he’d be appalled by his concept of Clash of Civilizations being so distorted by these warmongers to make wars around the world. While Huntington did separate the world into 8 different civilizations of Western, Orthodox (Russia), Islamic, Sinic (China), Japanese, Hindu, Latin American and African, his conclusion was that because these civilizations are so different culturally, the US should stay within the Western civilization and refrain from meddling in all other civilizations’ internal affairs. Huntington must be rolling over in his grave that idiot warmongers like Pompeo and Skinner are instead using his idea as a blueprint to launch WWIII.

The best presidential candidate for the Deep State is always the one that is compromised. The Deep State couldn’t have gotten any luckier than to have Trump and Clinton in the elections. Both compromised, both corrupt and both criminals with shady pasts. Trump might have thought he was a rebel when he was campaigning but was brought down to reality by his collusion with Israel, which the Zionist changed the script to Russia. As soon as Trump gave Israel Jerusalem, moved the Embassy, stopped funding Palestine and gave them the Golan Heights, the investigation ended.

Now they want war with Iran, so what do the Zionists do? They know Trump has shady deals with the Russians and other criminals who launder money through his businesses, because they used Deutche Bank and other banks to run those monies through. They knew all this because they own the banks, so now he has to start a war with Iran or face his bank records being released.

And when they are done with him doing what they want, they probably have a rape victim from Pedophile Island ready to press charges against him. The Deep State knows what they are doing when someone like Trump or Hillary run for office, they “FUND” them!

according to my opinion is a country which has aggressed or is still aggressing other countries thanks to fake news (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen), killing thousands of people, a country which has assassinated its president and a candidate at the presidency, which has killed 3000 of its own citizens in an act of terrorism and of which the criminals responsible for all those deeds always escaped and are still escaping justice.

Everyone understands that lying, known as Taqiyya (2), is a core Islamic value. Under Taqiyya, the most important lie a Muslim *must* tell is falsely claiming that Islam is a religion of peace, when it is actually a religion that requires the death of all non-Muslim infidels.

You can spot practitioners of Taqiyya quite easily. When confronted with the TRUTH they go into histrionics about zio-this and hasbra-that. The level of jumping up and down and mouth frothing is almost comical.

Look past the attempted distraction to the TRUTH. Maduro is butchering his own citizens. Unarmed men, women, and children. No amount of Taqiyya deception can change that FACT.

Here’s a true fact…Chavez’s land reform was firecely opposed by the global elite…many of whom owned huge tracts of land in Venezuela…

Another fact…a lot of these very large landowners weren’t even Venezuelan…there were Britons…Germans…and nationals of many other foreign countries…largely wealthy, ‘first-world’ countries…

At the same time most of the indigenous peoples of Venezuela were landless and couldn’t even practice subsistence farming…considering also that half the country’s population is indigenous [including Chavez himself]…

So the huge landowners were expropriated at very generous rates…it’s not like anyone took anything from them…but such is the mentality of the global elite that they hold everyone other than the extremely wealthy in complete contempt…

This land redistribution is what made Chavez, and the Bolivarian revolution itself such an enemy…and target…of the scumbags that have fleeced humanity for many years, if not centuries…

Now the really interesting part of all this is that these super wealthy scumbags have managed to brainwash the feeble minded masses into supporting their shitty agenda…and it’s shitty because even if you are what might be called ‘well off’…you’re still getting ripped off by a tiny clique of the super wealthy…

This is a fact that is easily seen in statistics showing the share of national wealth for four groups…

    The top 1 percent…

    The top 0.1 percent

    The top 0.01 percent

    And the top 0.001 percent…

These statistics are readily available going back 100 years… and have been published in peer reviewed literature…

So here is the deal…the top 0.01 percent owns a bigger total share of the national wealth than the 1 percent…even though there are a hundred times as many 1 percenters as there are 0.01 percenters…

So even if you are a smart and hard working person that accumulates more than 99 percent of the people…the handful of scumbags in that 0.01 percent is still taking money out of your pocket with a steam shovel…

So it’s rather difficult to comprehend why anyone who is not in the top 0.01 percent should support their agenda of unfairness against everyone else…even those who are reasonably well off…we all get royally ripped by these scumbags folks…let’s be smart…

Good question. I know this: The FBI also has one faction. I know this because of two agents that have retired in the last number of years have bluntly told me that the FBI has been infiltrated..literally with pro jewish agents. Obama released Jonathan Pollard before he left office. Some in the FBI didn’t want him released however others pushed for his release…guess who they were. I believe even dickhead Biden wanted him to remain behind bars.

Pollard probably did more damage to the US than any other spy. Casper Weinberger wanted Pollard executed. In Israel Weinberger is hated while Pollard is celebrated as a hero. What a great ally?

Right now our Foreign Policy is being dictated from Israel and the CIA is following the Neocon Jewish Playbook. Pompeo is just another cog of the Abrams, Bolton, and Jewish plan in Venezuela. They want control of the oil.

NSA….I have no idea what it is like but there is definitely hate relationship between them in the CIA. Most likely do to the fact that the Snowden received help from people in the CIA after the CIA got their budget cut and NSA appears to have gotten the money.

    L.K.

It has been a different experience moving to Mexico after 50 years in the US. I have always tried to keep myself informed with regards to current events both political and economical. Soon after arriving here, I discovered that I didn’t know anything about Mexico’s political, social and economic situation. I was so naïve to the amount of corruption that the country and its citizens were experiencing. I made a decision right then to learn as much as I could about Mexico’s current problems. The more information I gathered the more I started seeing articles about Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

L.K. This man had been running for President for the last 18 years after being Mexico City’s most progressive mayor. He turned Mexico City around and implemented social programs that are still in effect. His first run at president was full of electoral fraud and rushed through in spite of protests. The second run at president Vicente Fox the previous president made sure he got his man Calderon elected using electronic voting machines and made president under protest. The third time the US and the media portrayed him as a communists, an Hugo Chavez and bad for Mexico. Enrique Pena Nieto got elected with serious voter fraud. The fourth time none of that shit worked anymore because he started a new political party (Morena) and the people had just had enough with all the corruption and theft. He got over 60% of the vote and there was no way they could fix the ballot boxes. They tried but it was just too big of a lead for it to make a difference.

When he got into office there was a mess L.K. I can provide you some links that I have if you are interested but let me tell you, if he didn’t get elected…we would have lost PEMEX, the Electric Company, Our Water, the Education System and many State Owned Companies. Most of those corrupt deals were made with US companies under the direction of Hillary Clinton and the State Department. The Zionist Jew Larry Fink CEO of Blackrock came in and took over Retirement Funds and used them to buy Mexican Energy Contracts and every government official that made those deals now work for Blackrock.

    @ThreeCranes
That oil would be especially vital to the US if they plan to attack Iran and the Straits of Hormuz are closed to shipping as a result.

That’s an interesting point. I’m resistant to the idea that US Regime Change is motivated by oil, but the evidence usually points that way.

The Dollar/Oil link gives the US dollar its reserve status (i.e. every country has to hold it to trade). Reserve status used to be based on US world dominance of manufacturing (1950’s) but that’s no longer the case, with the general rule that debtor nations can’t issue the world’s reserve currency (as Great Britain painfully discovered when it lost its Empire).

And globalization (with its massive profits) comes to a halt if the dollar loses value. Asian producers want to be paid in real money (especially if it’s only 60c an hour). Same with the MIC and Israel – they want to paid in real money, not toilet paper.

Check that against the countries with the largest proven oil reserves – which is virtually the US Regime Change List:

The Chinese are also critically interested in this list, since they have little oil of their own, and oil imports are vital to their economy.

That gives a lot of importance to the Oil/Dollar argument, and the Zionist can be helpful in every way since it implies the destruction (or capture – like Saudi Arabia) of plenty of Middle Eastern countries.

  220. Miro23 says:

How many of his people will get massacred if a civil war breaks out? The people run over were supporting a US lapdog trying to illegally usurp power. Maduro might be no angel but the US has no business recognizing some random they’ve decided should be the president and declaring him to be so when clearly he has nowhere near the support needed especially in the military. Look at the mess in Libya and Syria. That’s the type of scenario that could happen in Venezuela if Maduro is overthrown.

Obviously no-one in the US government can be trusted to give a good rationale for inciting a coup in Venezuela but I’ve not heard anyone else explain why Guido would be better either. No-one on this planet can seriously make an argument that a lapdog of the dysfunctional US government being forcefully placed as a leader of Venezuela will help Venezuelans or Americans. It’s especially ironic from a government where there’s been non stop nonsense about Russian collusion in their election.

That oil would be especially vital to the US if they plan to attack Iran and the Straits of Hormuz are closed to shipping as a result.

That’s an interesting point. I’m resistant to the idea that US Regime Change is motivated by oil, but the evidence usually points that way.

The Chinese are also critically interested in this list, since they have little oil of their own, and oil imports are vital to their economy.

That’s also an interesting point. Very interesting, in fact.

  228. @Miro23

Indeed it would plunge most of the world into absolute chaos leaving the cashed up fraudsters able to snap up strategic infrastructure everywhere at bargain basement prices and gain even greater control. I do hope I’m mistaken but it does help explain why Russia and possibly China would have an interest in giving support to Maduro. It is an inescapable fact that they cannot allow themselves to be isolated and picked off one at a time. Denying the US control of Venesuela’s oil makes an attack on Iran less feasible.

I have no source of information about the armed forces other than what people say in interviews. Some Venezuelans claim that the regular army is not trusted by the Maduro regime, and is marginalized, meaning: without access to arms on their own authority. Other people say that members of the armed forces have been put in charge of lucrative food distribution networks. Others say that the armed forces are involved in the drug trade. Still others say that the Cubans, of which there are rumored to be around 20,000 in Venezuela, are Maduro’s secret police, running a Stazie type operation, keeping a tight grip on the armed forces.
The job of suppressing the population is not in the hands of the army, but rather of “colectivos,” men on motorcycles, riding in large numbers, armed with shotguns but with access to heavier stuff. These colectivos are what illegitimate regimes have to have: paramilitary bullies who want two things: somebody to tell them what to do, and permission to hurt people unable to defend themselves.
Here is footage of these colectivos in action (English).

    Here is an account (Spanish).

    I underestimated the Maduro Government

They apparently set a trap for Guaido, leading him to believe that very high officials were about to switch sides

    from moon of Alabama:

The Trump administration, which has backed Mr. Guaidó since he first challenged Mr. Maduro’s authority more than three months ago, clearly thought the day would unfold differently.
There is no official explanation why the Trump administration believed that the comical coup attempt by Juan Guaidó and his master Leopolo López would work.
There are signs though that the government of President Nicolas Maduro set a trap. Several people in the top echelon of the Venezuelan government gave false promises that they would join the U.S. proxy side. They snookered Guaidó into launching his coup to let him

    This will probably happen now:
    M of A

Then again – what might it do should a ‘massacre’ happen in Venezuela. If hundreds of Guaidó supporters get mowed down by machine gun wielding troops in a false flag operation, the U.S. would surely accuse the Maduro government. With the U.S. media and the Democratic Party fully aligned with the White House regime change strategy there would be little resistance to the use of force. A ‘humanitarian’ bombing run against Venezuelan government targets, primarily its air defenses, might then be considered to be the right response.

Stupid ass Pompeo believed it and tried to blame Putin, saying he told Madurro not to leave.

Salinas De Gortari’s brother was convicted of murdering his brother in law and was investigated for drug trafficking and money laundering by Swiss Authorities. They were investigating a 50 million dollar deposit in his wife’s name. When she went to withdraw they arrested her and froze the account. The mistake the Swiss made was they were trying to tie that money to drug trafficking, but it was a kick back for the sale of a State Owned Cellular Phone company to one of their friends, another Billionaire after the sale.

The new President has been facing unrelenting attacks, for his investigations of corrupt deals and reforms approved by the PRI/PAN parties. ‘The CIA has developed great expertise in undermining the governments of other countries. They use a great variety of methods, including propaganda, disinformation, fabricated incidents, infiltration of labor unions and other organizations, using the Agency for International Development or the National Endowment for Democracy as conduits to funnel money to opposition groups and so on. The American Institute for Free Labor Development was a CIA-organized union, which taught many Latin American labor leaders to have a friendly, sympathetic view of capitalism, rather than an antagonistic, Marxist viewpoint. The CIA itself controls media outlets in most countries. The rich media corporations not directly controlled by the CIA are usually very sympathetic to the CIA agenda anyhow and are willing to cooperate with them.

Chile prior to the overthrow of Salvador Allende is an excellent example of how the CIA uses propaganda. Thousands of posters were produced showing Chilean children with a hammer and sickle stamped on their forehead. A radio spot was produced featuring the sound of a machine gun followed by a woman’s cry: ” They have killed my child-the communists.” The announcer then added in impassioned tones: “Communism offers only blood and pain. For this not to happen in Chile, we must elect Eduardo Frei president.” All sorts of lurid gossip about the private lives of targeted leaders like Salvador Allende are produced to sway public opinion about them in a negative direction. They use agent provocateurs in demonstrations to create incidents and sometimes deaths that reflect unfavorably on the government. A striking example was in Italy, where the CIA in collaboration with Italian fascists blew up the Bologna railway station and blamed it on communists.’

    https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/guaido-military-mutiny-miscalculation-190228143729957.html
    Excerpt:

The dilemma of the Venezuelan soldier
The flipside to all of this is the social aspect of the civil-military doctrine. The bulk of any military force tends to come from the lower social classes, which in itself should favour empathy for the lot of those same segments of the population. But the civil-military alliance further reinforced this, directly involving the armed forces in the delivery of social projects “to create closer bonds of trust, cooperation, and mutual identification between the civilian population and the military”.

The social crisis has reached such proportions – with food shortages, disintegration of the health system, rampant crime, and mass migration – that no soldier can remain untouched by its grim consequences. There are undoubtedly many within the armed forces who are deeply troubled and angry about the devastating effects of the Maduro government’s policies on those very people that the Bolivarian movement was designed to help, but the lower ranks face even stronger disincentives to defect than their commanding officers.

No salary can compete with Venezuela’s runaway inflation, but in the military more than elsewhere Maduro has tried to maintain a modicum of purchasing power. Closeness to the state also confers better access to subsidised goods and public services for security forces and their families. Though nowhere near sufficient in themselves, these small advantages make all the difference in Venezuela’s precarious situation. The alternative of defection also presents immense risks, particularly in terms of retribution against soldiers and their families.

The painful effects of the cruel personal dilemma for soldiers were in evidence during the aid standoff on Venezuela’s borders on February 23. Some security personnel blocking the Colombian border wept as protesters urged them to defect. Others bolted across the border on foot, their gravest fear clearly that they would be caught within Venezuela and have to suffer the consequences.

Overall, these severe personal concerns quite naturally outweigh any broader social ones.

No it is not legitimate. It exists in contravention of the only argument for legitimacy, namely the original resolution in the League of Nations. The text of that resolution clearly makes “Israel’s” legitimacy based upon specific borders and the co-creation of a state of Palestine. By blocking the Palestinian state the zippers are also cancelling their own. NO amount of other states ‘recognising’ the state of “Israel” makes it legitimate. Wanting an equitable distribution of wealth and opportunity is not communism. For a time Americans had good paying jobs and the incentives to work hard at them. They made good products and bought houses, cars, appliances and good things for their families. The future looked bright, right up until it went up in smoke literally, with the diversion of wealth towards weapons of war. It was the bogus spectre of communism that facilitated that and it seems there are still some who haven’t learned anything from it. Sad that!

The federal government asserts the Patriot Act has safeguards to protect the rights of American citizens. Still, some parts of the law were found illegal by the courts. For instance, in 2015 the United States of Appeals for the Second Circuit found Section 215 of the Patriot Act could not be used to validate the bulk collection of Americans’ phone records.

Major ship of the Mexican navy were purchased from the US,Israel and Spain. The navy has its own patrol boats designed and built in Mexico.

It has four frigates of the Allende class.

The navy has a lot of drug interdiction duties. The Mexican marines (25,000) have been used in the anti drug wars

They captured El Chapo twice. They were used to track down and kill the drug lord Arturo Beltran Leyva in 2009 in the northern city of Monterrey.

When the Mexican government gave a dead marine who had been killed in the Monterrey operation a public funeral, which meant that he could be identified, the cartel then took revenge by killing his mother, brother sister and aunt during a candle lit vigil in Tabasco state.

I understand that the navy has the most educated officers in the armed forces and many have studied and have been stationed abroad.

Pure White Mexican officers are often to be found in the Mexican navy..

And I consider it unfortunate that the Saker’s photo of the woman at the bottom of his article is wearing what appears to be a ‘commie’ red star on her hat.

That kind of thing only complicates the situation further, because one of the main reasons the Regime is using as a pretext for their coup, is that Maduro is a commie, and (rightly) for a lot of people, that mean’s he’s anathema to general prosperity and freedom.

But that said, I’ll just say I have a metric. It’s the same metric I use to cypher who the good guy and bad guys are in places like Ukraine or the Middle East, for instance.

The way the metric works, is ‘are they friends of Zion?’ And if so, then they are most certainly the bad guys.

    Ukros? Yep, bad guys.

    Saudis = bad guys

    Brits = ditto

Macron, Merkel, Trump = you got it.

Where it gets complicated is in places like Turkey, for instance. When Erdogan is playing ball with the Zios, as in helping to dismantle Syria for his own nefarious agenda – he’s a bad guy. A friend of Zios.

But then sometimes he acts against the Zios, and can be a good actor.

So the point is, as Venezuela is in the cross hairs of Zion (ZUSA), and we all wonder exactly what’s going on, all I really need to know is that Maduro is no friend of Zion, and that sort of tells me all I have to know about who the bad actors are.

As long as Trump is sending Eliot Abrams, (a ((neocon))), that’s all I need to know, that Maduro should have my support.

God bless the good people of Venezuela, and God speed to their perseverance over the forces of evil in the world = (my government).

Al-Qaïda is an auxiliary paramilitary force for NATO, while Daesh is an Allied land army.

Daesh is a creation of the NATO Intelligence services… Al-Qaïda was an auxiliary army for NATO – we saw them fight in Afghanistan, then in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and finally in Iraq, Libya and Syria. …

Oussama Ben Laden, officially listed as Public Enemy Number One, in fact lived in Azerbaïdjan under US protection, as revealed by an FBI whistle-blower.

Let us not forget that the attacks of 11 September in New York and Washington have never been claimed by Al-Qaïda, that Oussama Ben Laden declared that he was not implicated, and that the video in which he contradicted this original statement has been authenticated only by his employer, the Pentagon, but has been declared to be false by all independent experts. …

Since Daesh has been deprived of its territory (first of all due to the courage of the Syrian Arab Army, then due to the Russian Air Force), the survivors can no longer play the role which was handed to them by the Westerners, but only a function similar to that of Al-Qaïda – a terrorist militia.

    Hey Republic,

You’re right the Mexican Navy will never compete with the US Navy but it does have quite a few ships. And because we are not a warmongering empire building nation we don’t need a huge Navy. Mexico has been building their own ships, just as you say, because we need to stop illegal US fishing vessels and CIA financed cocaine hauling speed boats. Mexico just signed a contract to build Russian civilian and military helicopters and they have been trying to convince us not to buy used F-16s from the US. They want Mexico to build the Mig-29s and establish a maintenance program to service the planes sold in Latin America. Mexico hasn’t committed to buying any fighters from any country.

I am of the opinion that buying new advanced fighters would be a waste of money for Mexico. The F-21 and F-35 Fighters will dominate the Mexican sky no matter what fighter they buy. I believe Mexico needs to buy ground to air missile systems. The Swedish made missile systems manufactured by Saab should be researched. Such as the RBS15 anti ship system, the BAMSE SRSAM ground to air systems. You can buy thousands of missiles for the price of one F-21.

A lot of people wonder why Mexico doesn’t have any tanks. Mexico decided long ago that its mountainous terrain was not suited for tank warfare. So they elected to purchase and build wheeled Armor Vehicles such as the ERC 90 F1 Lynx and the VCR-TT 6X6 APC . They also incorporated various tank killing weapons such as, Russian Anti Tank RPG’s, France’s Milan Anti-Tank missiles.

Mexico manufactures its own assault rifles FX-05 Xiuhcoatl chambered in Nato 5.56 and a new sniper system has been in development and should be available this year.

I live in Monterrey, but I think they killed Leyva in Tampico which is close by, but I might be wrong. The guy that killed the soldiers family was an American citizen born in Laredo, TX. They called him La Barbie and he didn’t like that the soldier took selfies of Leyva dead body and himself. He was a badass from what I have read, he was extradited to the US a few years ago.

If you google “Andres Manuel Lopez Abrador Presidential Acceptance Speech” on Youtube you will see 3 Mexican Marines, a White Male, a Female and a Brown Male its a long video so I didn’t want to attach it here. You are somewhat right… there are White Mexican Officers in the Navy, but there is also a lot of White Mexicans in Mexico. People in the US just don’t see them because they stay in Mexico.

Anyway my brother, its good that you take time to learn about events in Mexico and have definitely learned a lot. They don’t teach you those things in school, you have to self educate yourself.

    Have a nice day brother!!!

We don’t need people with that much money. They serve no purpose. If they’re so mega-awesome, they’ll make another pile of money in no time flat, anyway.

Why, you ask? Because there are so many sacks of shit in that group (we’re talking oligarchs here) and they’re doing so much bad with all that money. The world would be a better place if they didn’t have it.

That’s an article worth reading, showing how the US is on its way from a Western Inclusive society to a Third World Extractive one – destination the Philippines with a tiny billionaire elite surrounded by a mass of hopeless poverty.

Rich Western societies have historically taken the Extractive > Inclusive route but the US is a rare example of a society in regression – going Inclusive > Extractive.

    Like the article says:

And in the United States today, the richest three Americans hold more wealth than the bottom 50% of the country.

IMO this is bound to happen if the US elite can enforce global wage competition for traded goods (e.g. Sri Lanka 60c an hour for clothing manufacture) and open frontiers wage competition for non-traded goods (e.g. $3 an hour for Latino service labour).

This Administration has been charged with putting Russia & China back in their boxes and under American/Internationalist control. Alas, if it was a basketball team, it’s going into the most important series its ever been in with the shallowest bench it’s ever had. Far shallower than either of its opponents, and grossly over-matched when they pool their resources. Most of its pool of so-called “talent” is busy figuring out how to stay out of jail, and we’re seeing how easily outplayed the remaining the 2nd-stringers are with this latest fiasco in Caracas.

They got thoroughly punked in broad daylight on live TV, visible to bemused onlookers from Argentina to Afghanistan. The Venezuelans played them like a violin. I suspect, frankly, that their disciplined performance was conducted by the skilled baton of a Russian conductor.

The acid is wearing off, and the 3 Stooges have no idea what to do next. Everybody sees that. Importantly, the Pentagon sees that too, and has stated that it has no taste for going into Venezuela. None of the S. American “allies” are eager to do so in their place.

I agree this exploding pie was a masterpiece of comedy…noticed how the Venezuelan side kept a straight face after the farce wound down…but you gotta be sure there was a lot of knee slapping and sidesplitting going on off camera…LOL

Also noticed that no South American country is on board for an invasion…even Bolsonaro’s VP is walking back some of his boss’s more reckless comments…

As for a military strike by the US…they’re hampered by not having any air bases in South America…so would need to fly strike aircraft all the way from the US…that’s a very long way to fly for a fighter pilot…even with aerial refueling and auxilliary [drop] tanks..they would be met there by Venezuelan Sukhoi Su30 fighters…more deadly than any opposing US aircraft…

Any attempt to challenge those Sukhois for control of Venezuela’s skies carries the huge risk of an F22 or F15 being killed…the reputational damage would be too terrible to contemplate…

A cruise missile barrage would likewise fare little better…Venezuela is on of the few countries that has the mighty S300VM…this is a completely different system from the ‘regular’ S300…the VM is on a tracked chassis and carries completely different missiles, designed specifically for the anti missile role [both cruise and ballistic]…

It also carries rounds for anti aircraft which can reach 250 km…for shorter range work they have the latest model Buk surface to air missile system…and they have plenty of both…

We know Russian advisers are in country and all of those weapons systems have been updated with the latest ‘releases’…

Bottom line…any US military adventure could be a spectacular disaster…the US has never faced this kind of state of the art Russian equipment..not in Iraq, nor Serbia nor anyplace else it has thrown its weight around…the stakes of coming up short in front of the whole world are just too high…

We can assume the US will just continue with its economic strangulation policy…but we can also assume that both Russia and China are going to run interference in some interesting ways that we are yet to see…

The US is prosecuting the same kind of economic war against Iran…and has the same major powers lined up against it…

I think we will see over the coming months just how badly the US has overestimated its might…

i want to respect him but things like this and “ukronazi!” “ukronazi!” “ukronazi!” make it difficult

Well that’s what they are! This is just a term used for the sake of precision, that’s all. I don’t know what these people need to do to make you realize they are indeed a subtype of the Nazis. The prefix “Ukro” indicates these aren’t the German Nazis, but Nazis come in all shapes and nations.

The profess themselves admirers of Hitler and the Nazi system; their heroes are the Nazi collaborators; they believe in the supremacy of the Ukrainian nation, which is the essence of any fascist ideology including Nazism; they suit their actions to the words using extreme violence agains people of other nations as well as political opponents.

Even justification for the violence is similar – these people are so inferior, anything could be done to them without a problem, for normal consideration don’t apply. These Ukronazis aren’t educated enough to know the word “Untermenschen”, so they use “cockroaches”, “colorads” (Colorado beetle, due to the color of the Georgian ribbon used in the Red Army), “vata” (cotton) and such, to dehumanize their opponents.

Two days ago, there was a 5 year anniversary of the Odessa massacre when the Ukronazis burned alive 48 people and finished off those trying to escape the fire. You know how the Ukis marked that anniversary? They showed a barbecue or roasted sausages on TV as a demonstration of what’s happened in Odessa!

Don’t underestimate their capacity for violence: just because they look like clown doesn’t mean they won’t execute anybody they dislike any chance they get.

“The decision to deal with Iran’s oil embargo has probably been taken in the final form. This decision is such that, without any harm to our international relations, we will put pressure on American over without leaving a trace. The decision-making authority of the country finally found the right solution and you should wait for its implementation.

Of course, I should point out that the American, Saudi and Emirati side also know what Iran will do, although the Americans expected that Iran would leave JCPOA or she would take a wrong action to close the Strait of Hormuz. But as previously stated, sovereign authorities after much consultation have decided on another matter.

God willing, if you will, we will explain these issues. But for now please b aware of this, and then watch the game of Iranian chess players with American and Zionist gamblers and see who will win and who will lose.”

Of course, Iran needs to sell oil that China needs to buy while the Russians want Iran onside. The 3 together are quite capable of outfoxing the ship of fools in DC. Ever since the announcement that the sanctions waivers would be allowed to expire, the world’s been waiting for their counter move.

What will hopefully make a difference is that Iranians and other resisting Israel in the ME will benefit from Russia’s expertise in political analysis. Russians have a modern outlook, efficient think-tanks, the capabilities to analyse the real power dynamics between the US and Israel.

To the eyes of the public, apart from the massacres in Palestine, Israel unfortunately hides her crimes very efficiently under the US umbrella. Best.

They also serve as a sideshow and distraction, witness Russia’s wasting of time on the issue. There’s nothing particularly incongruent about Israel or Ukraine’s Jewish oligarchs funding them, really no different than the “Muslim extremists” who conveniently never strike Israeli or Jewish targets.

    — All 52 main Jewish American organizations, plus the Jewish State, have been the staunch supporters and protectors of the banderites.

The incongruence begins with putting historian-researchers into prison and destroying their livelihood if results of their honest research conflict with zionists’ dogmas (talk about the freedom of information). And don’t forget the profiteering schemas of holo-biz.

Moreover, the ZUSA has been the main driver of the ongoing civil war in eastern Ukraine. Let’s put it this way — the renaissance of neo-Nazism in eastern Europe owes its existence to the zionists’ support, protection, and encouragement. These facts of the zionists’ support, protection, and encouragement should be used against the parasitoid, whether with regard to the zionization of the US military, or the corruption of the US Congress by the Lobby, or Israel’s crimes against humanity in Palestine and the Wars for Israel in the Middle East.

Some Muslims consider Erdogan the best Muslim leader in the world. I don’t buy that crap. He’s openly supporting the FSA terrorists in Syria and he is waging war against a fellow Muslim and he intruding upon the sovereignty of another nation, and burning its infrastructure and building to the ground. Instead of standing in solidarity with Assad against the neo-colonialism imposed upon them by the AngloZioFrog cabal, he is going against that by aiding and abetting the total destruction and annihilation of a free and strong government, and its peoples. Not much anti-imperialism there. Many Muzzies tend to be hotheaded and very emotionally unstable at times, and their behaviours resemble a form of mania when it comes to political leaders, and politics in general. How exactly is a leader that works with the shekelmen of the Zionist entity in the ME a good friend and a courageous and powerful leader? What has he done but say that “anti semitism is a crime against humanity”? He can be good, but let us not be too expecting and gullible, lest we become extremely disappointed and disilussioned further. IMO the best Muslim leaders would probably be Hassan Nasrallah or Tun Mahathir of Malaysia.
