I was looking for something on Google Video today, and looking at the most recommended videos I see some personalization going on.
No doubt that Matt’s, Aaron’s and Performancings are geared more towards my interests, but they aren’t general community stuff by any stretch of the imagination. What I find most annoying is they don’t tell me they are recommending them and there’s no way for me to opt out or toggle it on or off. When I log out the recommendations go away
The more of this I see the more I’m disliking it!
