September 17-19, 2015 - Fort Worth, Texas
The eighth joint US - EU conference on OSH cooperation between the United States and the European Union will be held on September 17-19, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. The conference theme, as in previous years, is "Critical Issues in Occupational Safety and Health". Topics include: Preventing Hazards in Energy Production; Nanotechnology - Materials at the Workplace; and Health and Safety and the Changing Structure of Work.

Globally Harmonized System for Hazard Communication
There are a number of countries around the world that have developed standards requiring transmittal of information to users or handlers of chemicals. While similar to requirements in the United States, the variations result in different labels and material safety data sheets for the same chemicals.
