KingEmpoleon was the screen name of Terence R. Payton, a 16 year old Smogonite from Paris, Illinois.
Payton, known to his friends as 'Terry', was your typical basement-dwelling tourneyfaggot, riddled with Asperger's syndrome, wasting his life playing a children's video game about colorful battling monsters rather than going out, finding a job and a girlfriend and making something of himself, until one fateful day, on June 23rd, 2011, he decided that he'd try to be hardcore by killing his mom, Kathie.

Motives and aftermath[edit]

Young Terry claims that he killed his mother in self-defense after she came at him with a knife, a Steel attack, forcing him to use a super-effective Fighting move in which he repeatedly smashed her head against the kitchen floor, before stabbing her in the chest and neck seven times. Despite Nurse Joy's best efforts, she died.
After killing his mother, Terry then sent a series of text messages to his emo buttbuddy, Jacob Schumaker✡, asking for help disposing of his mom's body, before retreating to Facebook to bawww about it.

Shortly afterwards, a SWAT team of Officer Jennies raided the Payton home and took Terry Payton into custody.

Trial[edit]
At his trial, Payton attempted to claim diminished responsibility and plead not guilty by reason of insanity due to his Asperger's syndrome, but it failed.
On February 15th, 2012, it was announced that Payton's trial would be delayed and a date for a jury trial is still pending as the investigation continued.
On February 28th, 2013, Terry Payton was found guilty of second degree murder after the jury spent five hours deliberating, although he has yet to be sentenced. Prosecutors had argued that Payton was unjustified in taking his mother's life, pointing to bloodspray and autopsy evidence that indicated Ms. Payton was not standing up when she was stabbed.
Local Support[edit]
According to people who knew Terry and Kathie Payton, Kathie was an abusive alcoholic who constantly beat and humiliated her faggy son, Terry, probably for being an autistic manchild who still plays Pokémon. Neighbors report that they would regularly hear Kathie screaming at Terry at all hours, day and night, usually something along the lines of "WTF?! WHY I CAN'T I USE SALAMENCE?!" and "OH COME ON, GARCHOMP SHOULDN'T BE UBER! IT DIES TO LIKE ONE ICE ATTACK, YOU FUCKING SCRUB!!"
If Terry did kill his mother, his family says, it was likely in self-defense. Now, despite him facing 120 years in prison, Terry's family, friends and community are rallying around him to provide a level of support they say he never had before.
So, kids, if you're feeling alone and unloved, just remember: Kill parents, acquire friends.
