SP-South Sudan (SPSS) is Samaritan’s Purse’s largest field office, operating across 5 bases primarily in emergency relief to refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Nutrition programming is an important part of Samaritan’s Purse operations in South Sudan.
The Nutrition Program Coordinator will support the implementation of the overall nutrition strategies and program aimed at preventing malnutrition and improving maternal and child health and nutrition, and hygiene and sanitation.

Samaritan’s Purse - South Sudan (SPSS) is Samaritan’s Purse’s largest field office, operating across 5 bases primarily in emergency relief to refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Maban County Hospital in Upper Nile State, South Sudan has been supported by Samaritan’s Purse since 2011. It is the only secondary care provider in the region therefore receiving many referrals from the four surrounding refugee camps as well as the host community in Bunj. The workload is intensive and requires a team of dedicated health professionals to meet the ever increasing demand for specialized medical care at the hospital.
