They have been bosom buddies since starring on Broadway back in 2006.

And Lea Michele and Jonathon Groff looked every inch the best of friends as they were spotted out in New York City on Thursday.

The Scream Queens star, 32, draped her famous figure in a black romper as the Looking alum, 34, cut a casual figure in denim and khakis.

Daring to impress, the Glee actress commanded attention as her ensemble was form fitting and held a plunging design.

Her trademark brunette tresses were left long and loose as they cascaded over her shoulders and framed her youthful face.

Lea and Jonathon first became pals when they starred in the 2006 hit rock musical Spring Awakening, for which Groff received a Tony nomination.

They are so close that Lea asked Jonathon to be her 'maid of honor' for her marriage to Zandy Reich, 35.

Lea and Zandy were first romantically linked to one another in July 2017, but knew each other long before that.  

'They’ve been friends for a long time, a few years,' a source told People, 'Things turned romantic recently and they’re dating now.' 

After dating for two years, Zandy proposed to the actress in April 2018.

Lea and Zandy then married a year later in an intimate ceremony in California on March 9.

They celebrated the life changing day at Napa's Carneros Resort. 

The happy couple were joined by Glee creator Ryan Murphy, 53, actor Darren Criss, 32, and Lea's Scream Queens castmate Emma Roberts, 28.  

The duo gushed about their wedding to People magazine saying, 'We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family. 

'Most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together,' they said.

Michele began her career as a child actress on Broadway appearing in Les Miserables (1995-1996), Ragtime (1997-1999), Fiddler On The Roof (2004-2005) and Spring Awakenings (2006-2008). 

She is best known to many fans for her role on the Fox musical series Glee from 2009 to 2015.
