1965 | Became a co-educational school with the posting of the first batch of boys |

1967 | Declared open by Mr E W Barker, Minister for Law and Labour |
1984 | Relocated to Ang Mo Kio, Street 44, in December 1984. |
1992 | Was ranked top neighbourhood school by the Straits Times in August 1992 |
1993 | Was relocated to present premises at Ang Mo Kio Street 53 in December 1993. |
1994 | Was chosen to be one of the six autonomous schools in Singapore with effect from January 1994 |
1995 | Offers Higher Mother Tongue Languages to the Secondary One intake.* |
1996 | Became one of six pilot schools to implement the Student’s-and-Teacher’s Workbench (STW) project |
