Osher Günsberg Is Putting Down The Roses To Host 'The Masked Singer Australia'
Osher is again set to take the stage for Australia's most exciting new show, 'The Masked Singer'!
Temporarily trading roses for rhyme, Osher is about to take on something totally different from the Bachie Mansion, as he returns to his musical roots to host 10's exciting new series.
Instead of playing matchmaker to a horde of bachelors and bachelorettes, he'll be dealing with wild and wacky celebrity contestants as he becomes the musical ringmaster once again.
In case you need a refresher, back in 1999, and up until 2009, Osher was at the forefront of Australia’s popular music industry, working as a music VJ on Foxtel’s Channel V, hosting national hit radio program Take 40 Australia and helping to create music superstars as co-host on Network 10’s 'Australian Idol'.
On his return to the creative side of things, Osher said, “I’m so excited to be a part of a big, loud entertainment show for Network 10. 'The Masked Singer Australia' is such an out-there show, such a wild format, and I can’t wait for people to see it."

Osher continued: “While lately, I’ve been whispering very seriously about roses, this is a very different side of what I do, and I’m thrilled that we’re doing it.”
The new reality series will see celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer is disguised head-to-toe in an elaborate costume to conceal their identity.
“I have no idea who will be behind the mask, but my dream contestant would be either Netball champion Liz Ellis, or Lee Lin Chin," Osher told 10 daily. "Two people who are so well-known yet would just blow people's minds if we found out that it was them behind the mask.”
Osher will be joined by an exciting panel of superstars who will try and guess the identity of the stars under the masks.
Part singing show, part crazy costumes, and part ~mystery~, it's time to whip out your magnifying glasses, follow the clues, and guess the celebrity.
