Lamar Miller's 97-yard TD run ranks third on all-time list
Dolphins RB Lamar Miller's 97-yard touchdown run ties for the third-longest in NFL history.
If there were any doubts about Rex Ryan somehow saving his job with a Week 17 win against the Dolphins, they were all but erased in the seconds it took Miami running back Lamar Miller to sashay through a gaping hole on his own 3-yard-line.
Ninety-seven yards later, Miller scored, giving the Dolphins a 24-14 lead early in the third quarter.
Lamar Miller's 97-yard TD run was the longest in the @NFL since 2003 when Ahmad Green of Green Bay had a 98-yard run. #nfl #NYJvsMIA

The Cowboys' Tony Dorsett holds the all-time record, a 99-yard sprint against the Vikings in 1982.
97-yard TD run by Dolphins RB Lamar Miller longest in franchise history. So there's that for Rex Ryan to remember his last game by.

A series after Miller's run, Geno Smith hit Eric Decker for a 74-yard touchdown to cut the Dolphins' lead to 24-21.
