A few months ago, I wrote a letter to Justice Gorsuch asking for advice as I make my way through law school. It was an extremely pleasant surprise to come home to a response from him. Fantastic advice; regardless of whether you are a lawyer or not.pic.twitter.com/yzYxSJfnxG

This is the kind of thing the Justice does on a daily basis, without seeking attention for it. He is a terrific person and mentor. And he practices what he preaches--he's incredibly kind to everyone.

Hmm. I probably would have made a photocopy and redacted that, rather than redacting the original letter....but it’s your letter, so your call. Either way, nice to see you got a response. Any reason you picked him?

Haha, iredacted via Snapchat; I didn’t actually take a sharpie and mark the letter up. But Gorsuch is my favorite on the court. Kagan is a close second.

Again some left nutcrack cant just admit they lost, seat wasnt stolen its politics, dems do the same, so go back to your home, feed your 16 cats, and live your lonely, self indulgent life, no true American wants to listen to you whine and cry, just be happy for the kid.

They tried to. Justice Scalia died under suspicious circumstances with no autopsy, then they were trying to push Merrick through on a PRESIDENTIAL election year. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were not. Let's not forget Obama nominated Kagan & Sotomayor in midterm election.

It never went for a vote. At the most, Garland was deprived of the chance to become but the not the SCOTUS seat. Just an observation, from a non-American.
