How do I report a change for Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) Medicaid coverage

Changes must be reported within 30 days of the change.  

Determine if you are a MAGI Medicaid recipient

I need to report a change for:

• An adult age 18 to 64 years old, without Medicare.
• A child.
• Someone who is pregnant.

You have several options to report a change for MAGI Medicaid coverage:

• Online: Go to Washington Healthplanfinder - log in and select "Report a change in income or household" under Quick Links.
• Phone: Call the Washington Healthplanfinder Customer Support Center at 1-855-923-4633.
• Email: askmagi@hca.wa.gov
• Paper: Submit verification of the change to: HCA-MEDS, PO Box 45531, Olympia WA 98504

Once your change has been processed, you'll receive a notification explaining any changes to your coverage or any next steps.

• An adult age 65 or older.
• Someone who is blind or disabled.
• Someone who is receiving long-term services and supports.

You have several options to report a change for Classic Medicaid coverage:

• Online: Go to Washington Connection - select "Report a change" and follow the prompts. 
• Phone: Call the DSHS Customer Service Center at 1-877-501-2233.
• Paper: Submit verification of the change to: DSHS-CSD, PO Box 11699, Tacoma, WA 98411-6699.
