Mukesh Chhabra returns to direct 'Kizie Aur Manny' after being accused of sexual harassment
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra who is making his directorial debut with the Hindi remake of 'Fault in our Stars' titled 'Kizie Aur Manny' have returned back to direct the film post sexual harassment accusations levelled upon him. The film starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Singh in the lead roles is scheduled to release in 2019. Chhabra was suspended from directing the film after accusations surfaced against him.

Four aspiring women actresses had anonymously accused Chhabra and another casting director Vicky Sidana of sexually assaulting them on the pretext of auditions. The accusation were laid in October in the ongoing #MeToo storm the plagued the Bollywood this year. Following which Chhabra was removed from directing the film.


According to the latest reports, Chhabra has returned back to the director's chair after being given a clean chit by the ICC committee and the Federation of Western India Cine Employees who didn't find him guilty of the accusations. The FWICE has even sent a letter citing non-observance of the provisions of POSH (Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace) Act in the inquiry procedure.


The filmmaker has been shooting for the past two weeks and will travel to Paris in the first week of January for the next schedule of the film.
