No, we don't. He can still lose the election. Also, governing by executive order is not the same as an autocracy. He is still dependent upon donors for each election cycle. If you would like to see what true autocracy looks like, Google can provide several examples.
Although the GOP controlled Senate does not choose to override him often, they still enjoy the ability to override the president on several important processes.
To be fair, we don’t know that the Senate could override the Executive Branch on anything right now. Every lawful order received by the White House has been denied with zero consequences. Who’s to say Trump would submit to oversight by McConnell anymore than he has to a Democratic House?
