Constructed sometime between 1926 and 1949, this single-story building stands out from the surrounding buildings.  Not only does it stand out in size, but its variegated coloring—everything from traditional red brick to brown, from orange to gray—is unique to downtown, and gives the impression of sandstone construction more than brick.  The building is further defined by its large aluminum-framed glass storefront, stretching nearly the entire width of the building, with the lower half surrounded by black ceramic panels.  Below each of the projecting display windows is a small, decorative metal vent.  The signage board above the storefront is surrounded by a boarder of bricks in rowlock and header formations.  Faint outlines of what appears to have been cornice vents or frieze windows are still visible that have since been replaced with brick.  The area above the storefront is textured by every fourth course of brick projecting slightly from the face of the building.  The same effect is accomplished in the upper half of the piers on either side of the building by every third course of brick projecting from the face.
