NASHVILLE – The Titans placed receiver Cameron Batson on Injured Reserve on Wednesday morning, one of several roster moves at the receiver position.

The Titans also signed receivers Tanner McEvoy and Papi White while waiving receiver Joseph Parker, who played at Chattanooga.

Batson was injured in practice on Monday and did not return after walking off with a trainer. The scrappy wideout had enjoyed a successful offseason. In fact, Batson was named one of the team’s top performers during the offseason at the start of training camp last week. Batson played in 11 games for the Titans in 2018 and had eight catches for 82 yards. He was expected to contend for a spot on the 53-man roster this fall.

The 6-6, 230-pound McEvoy, who played collegiately at Wisconsin, has spent time with the Seahawks, Saints, Dolphins and Bills in the NFL. He’s played in 29 career games and has 14 career receptions for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

White (5-9, 168) played collegiately at Ohio University, where he caught 62 passes for 987 yards and six touchdowns in his final season. He was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jaguars. He's expected to compete as a slot receiver with the Titans in camp.

The Titans return to the practice field on Wednesday.
