Bridget Moynahan joins the ‘Battle’

Actress to costar with Eckhart in Columbia film

Bridget Moynahan has been recruited to Columbia Pictures’ alien-invasion actioner “Battle: Los Angeles.”

Thesp will co-star opposite Aaron Eckhart in the pic about a Marine platoon that faces off against aliens who invade Los Angeles.

Jonathan Liebesman is helming the sci-fier from a script by Chris Bertolini. Production begins in the fall.

Neal Moritz is producing through his Original Films banner.

Moynahan will next be seen in Fox 2000’s “Ramona and Beezus,” co-starring John Corbett and Ginnifer Goodwin. Other credits include “The Recruit” and Tom Clancy adaptation “The Sum of All Fears.”
